Lawrence Irving
J. Lawrence Irving was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Irving was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on July 15, 1982, to a seat vacated by Edward Schwartz; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 28, 1982, and received commission that same day. He served the Southern District of California until his resignation on December 31, 1990. Irving was succeeded in this position by Irma Gonzalez.
Irving passed away on November 20, 2024.[1]
