Updated OC ref! There are only two minor changes, and I wanna info dump about how I got there.

So Tily's design is inspired by dancing pull-string toys, where you pull the string and it makes their limbs move. Like this one:

However, it dawned on me last month that by making her head/torso/hips segmented, there'd be issues with her lower parts weighting down and locking her limbs. That, and I wasn't sure how her torso and hips would even stay in place. 😅

So this is how I've made sense of her design:

The only real outward change that I've made was separating the continuous loop-to-tail rope into two sections. So now instead of her neck being made of rope, she has a dowel for a neck that secures her head to her torso. The other changes are all internal that I figured for my own peace of mind, lol. I attached an internal stopper below her waist on the central rope to keep her lower half from sliding down. And I added a spring in her chest to keep the weight of her lower half from pulling down and locking her arms up until the tail is intentionally pulled.

So there you have it! After over-engineering her innards, Tily has a different neck now. That, and her bow is a slightly lighter shade of purple. :3

Her joints can indeed go in any direction! (The flying is a shitpost, though. 😆)
