I want to point out how the final fight in Epic is not in song 38 but song 40.

How after Odysseus became "the monster" he then, was the last boss to fight

And Penelope fights him.

Because she fights for her husband, for the man beyond the trauma, for the man WITH the trauma, for the man she will always love and will wait forever if necessary.

She makes him angry, he gets furious and Penelope is the only character so far who matches that fury and tames it.

And Penelope wins.

She defeats the "monster".

And all it's left... it's just a man. Her man.

One of the interesting scenes of The Iliad I really like and will like to read, is when Zeus cries when one of his sons (who's on the Trojan side) he tries to go and aid, but Hera stops him and Zeus literally cried ichor from his eyes, like say what you want about Zeus but he does actually have a soul, which is why I would love an adaptation of the Iliad (whether live action or animation) to adapt it.

Thought of the funniest ways to have Odysseus be naked during "Odysseus" in my animatic and it's when one of the suitors is sulking around and thinks they found him and say "We know these halls, the odds can be tilted" it's just fucking Ody's cloak and loincloth on the floor, the suitors are very confused and then he appears from the shadows (maybe the below is slightly censored by shadow) and proceeds to cut them down.
