love the idea of pre-relationship maxdoof flirting where doof tries to do something really cool but needlessly reckless and stupid to impress max. sometimes he succeeds but most of the time he fails, but it's a win-win either way bc it makes max laugh from the sheer absurdity of doof's thinking.
