How does one person direct an entire TV episode?
I'm coming up to the end of Season 1 of Succession and each episode is listed as being directed by a different person. Does this mean that this person was present for the filming of every scene in that episode or is it more that they are in charge of an overall feel once the scenes have been shot? (No spoilers inside) [more inside]
Live TV experience in LA
I'm going to be in the Los Angeles area for the first week of July and possibly the last week of August. I'd like to be in the audience for the taping of a TV show. [more inside]
Why not face to face?
Why do US chat shows have the guest seating facing in the same direction as the host? This means the guest has to turn his or her head 90 degrees to look at the host, which looks totally unnatural to me. [more inside]
