  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Back in goal column

Scheifele scored a goal, added four hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 2-1 overtime win over the Sharks.

Scheifele matched his second-longest goal drought of the season (four games), but he was able to strike late to end the slump. The center dropped a pass for Nikolaj Ehlers, whose shot was denied, but the rebound was there for Scheifele to score the game-winner 1:33 into overtime. With 32 goals and 33 assists over 58 appearances, the 31-year-old center has been one of the most consistent players in the league this season. He's rounded out his production with 125 shots on net, 51 hits, 46 blocked shots, 41 PIM and a plus-7 rating, and he had five helpers during his recent goal drought to maintain a strong level of play.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Scores big goal in return

Morrissey scored his eighth goal of the season in Monday's 2-1 overtime win over the Sharks.

After sitting out Team Canada's championship win in the 4 Nationals Face-Off as well as the Jets' first game after the break due to an illness, Morrissey was back in action Monday and scored the tying tally with just 26 seconds left in regulation, blasting a one-timer through traffic past Vitek Vanecek. Morrissey has been his usual productive self since the calendar flipped to 2025, delivering five goals and 13 points in his last 18 appearances with 38 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Sharp in OT win

Hellebuyck stopped 17 shots in Monday's 2-1 overtime win over the Sharks.

While he wasn't particularly busy, Hellebuyck came up big when he needed to, and the only puck to get past him came on a San Jose power play in the first period. The veteran netminder was still staring at his first regulation loss since Jan. 20 until Josh Morrissey rifled home the tying tally inside the final minute of the third period, and Mark Scheifele then secured Hellebuyck's league-leading 35th win of the season in OT -- an incredible eight victories ahead of second-place Jake Oettinger. During his current seven-start win streak, Hellebuyck has posted a 2.13 GAA and a .917 save percentage.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Ready to rock

Morrissey (illness) will play against San Jose on Monday, Jamie Thomas of the Jets' official site reports.

Morrissey sat out Canada's championship win at the 4 Nations Face-Off on Thursday and missed Winnipeg's 4-3 shootout victory over St. Louis on Saturday. The 29-year-old blueliner has amassed seven goals, 46 points, 114 shots on net, 84 blocked shots and 33 hits through 56 games this season. Due to Morrissey's return, Ville Heinola will be a healthy scratch versus the Sharks on Monday.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Close to returning

Head coach Scott Arniel said Monday that Barron (upper body) is close to returning to game action, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Barron has been sidelined since the end of January due to an upper-body injury, but he's missed just five games since the 4 Nations Face-Off break took place during his absence. While the 26-year-old will be unavailable against the Sharks on Monday, he could return to game action Wednesday against Ottawa or Thursday against Nashville.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Set to start Monday

Hellebuyck is expected to get the starting nod against the Sharks at home Monday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports

Hellebuyck will be back in action for the Jets for the first time since Feb. 7 versus the Islanders, though he played in three of Team USA's four games at the 4 Nations Face-Off. The schedule will ease the 31-year-old netminder back into it, as the Jets head into a back-to-back versus the Senators and Predators on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. That means Hellebuyck will likely split those games with Eric Comrie.

  • Jets' Kaapo Kahkonen: Returned to minors

Kahkonen was assigned to AHL Manitoba on Sunday, per the NHL media site.

Due to the absence of Connor Hellebuyck (rest), Kahkonen was the backup behind Eric Comrie in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over St. Louis. According to Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site, Hellebuyck participated in Sunday's optional practice, clearing the way for the 31-year-old netminder's return to the lineup in Monday's home game versus San Jose.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Back at practice

Hellebuyck (rest) is back at practice with the Jets on Sunday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Hellebuyck sat out Saturday's game following the 4 Nations Face-Off, but the 31-year-old netminder is back with Winnipeg on Sunday and figures to be in net Monday when the Jets host the Sharks. Hellebuyck, the current Vezina front-runner, is a stellar 34-7-2 with a .925 save percentage and a 2.06 GAA.

  • Jets' Colin Miller: Pockets helper Saturday

Miller provided an assist, two hits and four PIM in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.

Miller ended a five-game point drought with the helper. The 32-year-old defenseman has seen sporadic playing time since the start of December, though he was able to play Saturday with Josh Morrissey (illness) out of action. Miller is up to 10 points, 43 shots on net, 57 hits, 32 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 41 appearances, surpassing his total of nine points across 46 outings from the 2023-24 regular season.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Contributes assist

Namestnikov notched an assist in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.

Fresh off signing a two-year, $6 million contract extension with the Jets earlier in the day, Namestnikov was able to show off his playmaking skills by starting the sequence that led to Nikolaj Ehlers' opening goal. The helper was Namestnikov's 20th of the season, making this the second year in a row he's reached that mark, as well as the fifth time in his career. He's largely served in a second-line capacity in 2024-25, racking up 30 points, 63 shots on net, 60 hits, 34 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a plus-19 rating over 53 appearances. The 32-year-old has a goal and six helpers during his active five-game point streak.

  • Jets' Kyle Connor: Sends helper in shootout win

Connor registered an assist and 10 shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.

Connor accounted for over one-third of the Jets' 28 shots on net in the contest. Clearly, he was fired up after being scratched by Team USA for the championship game of the 4 Nations Face-Off. While he didn't cash in during regulation or overtime, he had the lone tally in the shootout to secure the win. The winger has four goals and six helpers over his last seven outings, and he's up to 70 points (30 goals, 40 assists), 187 shots on net and a plus-9 rating through 57 appearances. This is the fourth time Connor has reached the 70-point mark, and he's within striking distance of his career-high 93-point campaign from 2021-22 at his current pace.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Garners helper Saturday

Scheifele notched an assist and three hits in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.

Scheifele went into the break with four goals and five assists over a six-game span. The 31-year-old may be highly motivated after being snubbed by Team Canada, though he's already been playing at a high level throughout 2024-25. The center is up to 64 points (31 goals, 33 helpers), 124 shots on net, 47 hits, 45 blocked shots, 41 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 57 appearances. He's on pace to reach the 80-point mark for the third time in his career, and his personal best of 84 points from 2018-19 is very much within reach.

  • Jets' Cole Perfetti: Supplies pair of helpers

Perfetti notched two assists and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.

Perfetti didn't let a two-week break slow him down -- his point streak is up to six games. He has a goal and seven helpers in that span and continues to see time on the second line. The 23-year-old winger has put together a strong campaign with 36 points over 57 outings, putting him two points shy of matching his career-high total from 71 contests in the 2023-24 regular season. Perfetti has added 99 shots on net, 49 hits, 38 blocked shots and a plus-17 rating in 2024-25.

  • Jets' Nikolaj Ehlers: Opens scoring against Blues

Ehlers scored a goal and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.

Ehlers opened the scoring on a feed from Cole Perfetti just 4:48 into the game. The 29-year-old Ehlers has gotten on the scoresheet in seven of his last 10 contests, racking up four goals, seven assists and 22 shots on net in that span. For the season, the winger is at 18 goals, 49 points, 120 shots and a plus-14 rating over 48 appearances. He's got a good chance of reaching the 60-point mark for the second year in a row and the fourth time in his career.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Scores two goals Saturday

Vilardi scored a pair of goals in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.

Vilardi gave the Jets a 2-1 lead in the second period and added a game-tying tally with 28 seconds left in the third. The Jets went on to win in the shootout after Vilardi helped them get through regulation time. It's the 25-year-old's third two-goal effort over his last seven contests, a span in which he has six tallies and four assists. He's up to 26 goals, 53 points, 108 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating across 57 appearances. He should hit the 30-goal mark this season, and he could challenge for 40 if he's hot and healthy to close out the campaign.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Prevails in shootout

Comrie allowed three goals on 24 shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.

Comrie has been streaky in limited action this season, earning a pair of three-game winning streaks and eight losses in between them. He's now 6-7-1 with a 2.59 GAA and a .910 save percentage over 14 appearances. The 29-year-old got the start Saturday in St. Louis since Connor Hellebuyck went from Boston to Winnipeg for rest after leading Team USA to a second-place finish at the 4 Nations Face-Off. Assuming Hellebuyck is ready to play Monday versus the Sharks, Comrie is likely to be back in the backup role, while Kaapo Kahkonen should be heading to AHL Manitoba in short order. Comrie should get another start soon -- the Jets have a road back-to-back this week, with stops in Ottawa on Wednesday and Nashville on Thursday.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Signs two-year extension

Namestnikov inked a two-year, $6 million contract extension with the Jets on Saturday, his agent Dan Milstein reports.

The 32-year-old Namestnikov is well on his way to his second-best season at the NHL level, scoring 10 goals and adding 19 assists in 52 outings. His best year was in 2017-18, when he managed 22 goals and 26 assists in 81 games split between Tampa Bay and the Rangers.
