Wizards' Kyshawn George: Plays 26 minutes in rout
George posted two points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 121-96 loss to the Clippers.
Although he was moved to bench in Jordan Poole's (hip) return to action, George was still able to play 26 minutes in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Clippers. While his performance was muted, George could find himself garnering more playing time with an uptick in fantasy value once again after Kyle Kuzma exited Wednesday's game due to a rib injury. George would be a candidate to rejoin Washington's starting lineup if Kuzma is unable to play in Saturday's matchup with the Bucks. In his six appearances as a starter this season, the rookie first-rounder is averaging 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 31.7 minutes per game.

Wizards' Bilal Coulibaly: Continues to struggle in loss
Coulibaly ended with three points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 121-96 loss to the Clippers.
Following a promising start to the season in his first nine games, Coulibaly is beginning to struggle a bit lately. Over his last eight games, Coulibaly is averaging 9.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting just 39.1 percent from the field during this period. The 20-year-old former No. 7 overall pick is still playing a prominent role in Washington's rotation, however, averaging 35.5 minutes per game during this time. Despite the current cold spell, his disruptive defense and ability to contribute across the board should help him maintain significant minutes for the Wizards moving ahead.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Looks rusty in return
Poole posted eight points (1-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 121-96 loss to the Clippers.
Making his return from a two-game absence due to a hip injury, Poole matched his season low with eight points and saw his minutes limited with Wednesday's game out of hand by the fourth quarter. Despite Wednesday's dud, Poole is still averaging a strong 20.8 points, 5.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 3.0 three-pointers per game over his last six outings while shooting 46.2 percent from beyond the arc during this span. The 25-year-old combo guard has mostly thrived in 2024-25 as Washington's point guard following the departure of Tyus Jones this past offseason, so fantasy managers should expect Poole to bounce back as he gets further removed from the hip issue.

Wizards' Kyle Kuzma: Out for remainder of game
Kuzma has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Clippers due to a left rib strain.
Kuzma missed both of his shot attempts across eight minutes before heading to the locker room. Kyshawn George and Corey Kispert are candidates for increased roles the rest of the way. Kuzma's next chance to suit up will come Saturday in Milwaukee.

Wizards' Kyle Kuzma: Goes to locker room Wednesday
Kuzma went to the locker room during the first half of Wednesday's game against the Clippers due to an undisclosed injury, Varun Shankar of The Washington Post reports.
Kuzma missed both of his shot attempts across eight minutes before heading to the locker room. It's unclear if he'll be able to return, but Kyshawn George and Corey Kispert are candidates for increased roles in Kuzma's absence.

Wizards' Kyshawn George: Back to bench
George won't start Wednesday's game against the Clippers.
With Jordan Poole back in action after a two-game absence, George will shift to the bench. As a reserve this season (10 games), George has averaged 6.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 0.9 blocks in 25.1 minutes per game.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Will play Wednesday
Poole (hip) is available for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Poole will shake off a questionable tag and suit up after missing two games due to a sore left hip flexor. Across 14 appearances this season, Poole has averaged 21.2 points, 4.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals in 30.2 minutes per game.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Listed as questionable
Poole (hip) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers.
Poole has missed the past two games for the Wizards due to some soreness in his left hip, but he remains day-to-day. If Poole doesn't get the green light to return, players such as Carlton Carrington, Kyshawn George and Corey Kispert would likely have more opportunities, while Malcolm Brogdon would have to soak up some usage.

Wizards' Jonas Valanciunas: Plays just 14 minutes
Valanciunas recorded four points (2-4 FG), three rebounds and one assist over 14 minutes during Tuesday's 127-108 loss to the Bulls.
Valanciunas' minutes continue to trend in the wrong direction, as he's now played 19 or fewer minutes in four straight contests. He's usually been very productive in limited minutes, but Tuesday's game was an outlier. He'll be a popular trade candidate going forward, and a change of scenery could provide a big boost to his upside.

Wizards' Malcolm Brogdon: Solid numbers in Tuesday's loss
Brogdon produced 15 points (5-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and four assists over 23 minutes during Tuesday's 127-108 loss to the Bulls.
The veteran guard seems to be rounding into form after missing the beginning of the season while completing his recovery from thumb surgery. Brogdon has scored at least 15 points in three straight starts, averaging 16.0 points, 5.7 boards and 3.3 assists in 24.7 minutes a contest. Jordan Poole (hip) has missed two of those games, so it's not really clear yet what the Wizards' backcourt usage will look like when the duo are together, and Brogdon still has some rust to shake off -- he's shot just 20.0 percent (2-for-10) from three-point range since making his season debut.

Wizards' Kyle Kuzma: Pops for game-high 23 in loss
Kuzma logged 23 points (7-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 8-11 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 127-108 loss to Chicago.
He led all scorers on the night, but Kuzma didn't get enough help from his teammates to avoid a 12th straight loss for the Wizards. The 29-year-old forward is still struggling to find his rhythm on offense. Over eight games since returning from a groin strain, Kuzma is shooting just 27.5 percent (11-for-40) from three-point range and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line, numbers well below his career rates.

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Career-best effort from downtown
Sarr finished Tuesday's 127-108 loss to the Bulls with 20 points (7-11 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes.
The four made three-pointers were a new career high for the second overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, while the 20 points tied his high-water mark so far. Sarr remains inconsistent offensively -- not surprising considering he won't turn 20 until late April -- and is shooting just 24.3 percent from beyond the arc. However, he's already a force on the defensive end of the court. He's recorded at least one block in 15 of his first 16 pro games, and his 1.9 rejections a game is tied for fifth in the league with Myles Turner.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Out again Tuesday
Poole (hip) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Bulls.
Poole will miss a second straight game due to left hip flexor soreness. Kyshawn George started in Poole's absence Sunday, while Corey Kispert saw an increased role off the bench. Poole's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday versus the Clippers.

Wizards' Tristan Vukcevic: Sitting out Tuesday
Vukcevic (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Bulls.
Vukcevic isn't yet ready to make his 2024-25 debut while he continues to recover from a left knee contusion. Wizards head coach Brian Keefe said back on Nov. 17 that once Vukcevic shakes off the injury, the second-year big man will need a reconditioning period before he's deemed ready for game action. With that in mind, Vukcevic looks safe to rule out through the second leg of the Wizards' back-to-back set Wednesday versus the Clippers.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Iffy for Tuesday
Poole (hip) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bulls.
Poole is in danger of missing a second straight game due to left hip flexor soreness. Kyshawn George started in Poole's absence Sunday, while Malcolm Brogdon and Carlton Carrington also saw increased usage. Expect more of the same if Poole is sidelined again.
