  • Falcons' Riley Patterson: Gets elevated for Week 13

The Falcons elevated Patterson from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's clash against the Chargers, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.

Patterson just joined Atlanta's practice squad Friday after being cut by the Jets earlier in November. He had played in one game for New York, making all three of his extra-point tries while not attempting a field goal in Week 9 versus Houston. Patterson may just be kicking insurance for the Falcons in Sunday's contest, as primary kicker Younghoe Koo (hip) logged a full practice session Friday and is expected to be able to suit up.

  • Falcons' JD Bertrand: Good to go vs. Bolts

Bertrand (concussion) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Bertrand missed the Falcons' last three games due to a concussion. He was able to log consecutive full practices to end the week, and he has cleared the league's five-step concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's game. The rookie fifth-round pick has logged 10 tackles (seven solo) across eight regular-season games.

  • Falcons' Jase McClellan: Won't play against Bolts

McClellan (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

McClellan popped up on Thursday's injury report as a limited practice participant due to a knee injury that is severe enough for him to not practice Friday. Avery Williams is slated to serve as the No. 3 running back Sunday behind Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier due to McClellan's injury.

  • Falcons' Drake London: No injury designation

London (hip) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

The Falcons added London to their injury report Thursday as a limited participant, but it's apparently not much of a concern after he upgraded to full participation Friday. Fellow Falcons wideout Darnell Mooney (Achilles) also avoided an injury designation for Week 13.

  • Falcons' Mike Hughes: Won't play Week 13

Hughes (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Despite participating in Friday's practice in a full capacity, Hughes will miss his second straight game due to a neck injury he suffered against the Saints in Week 10. While he won't play Sunday, the fact he was able to practice this week is a good sign that Hughes should be able to return for Week 14 against the Vikings on Sunday, Dec. 8. Clark Phillips will likely serve as the Falcons' second starting outside corner Sunday alongside A.J. Terrell due to Hughes' injury.

  • Falcons' Zach Harrison: Cleared to play against Bolts

Harrison (knee) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Harrison suffered a knee injury in the second half of the Falcons' Week 11 loss to the Broncos. Harrison took advantage of the additional rest courtesy of Atlanta's Week 12 bye, opening the week with consecutive limited practices before finishing strong with a full session Friday. Harrison has cracked 20 defensive snaps just once across 11 regular-season games, though he should see an increased snap count Sunday due to Ta'Quon Graham (pectoral) and Ruke Orhorhoro (ankle) both being on injured reserve.

  • Falcons' Charlie Woerner: Good to go vs. Chargers

Woerner (concussion) does not have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Woerner was sidelined for the Falcons' Week 11 contest against the Broncos due to a concussion. He was limited to start the week Wednesday, but he finished with two consecutive full practices and has cleared the league's five-step concussion protocols ahead of Sunday's contest. Woerner will reclaim his role as the Falcons' No. 2 tight end Sunday behind starter Kyle Pitts.

  • Falcons' Casey Washington: Good to go for Week 13

Washington (concussion) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Washington was able to end the week with consecutive full practices, and his lack of an injury designation indicates he has cleared the league's five-step concussion protocols. The rookie sixth-round pick has mostly played on special teams this season, and in his limited playing time on offense he's logged one catch (on two targets) for 14 yards.

  • Falcons' Nate Landman: Will play vs. Bolts

Landman (hamstring) was a full practice participant Friday and does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Landman popped up on the Falcons' injury report Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, but he'll be good to go Sunday after logging consecutive full practices to end the week. In the six games prior to the Falcons' Week 12 bye, Landman logged 46 tackles (26 solo) and three forced fumbles.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Ready to play

Hodge (neck) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup with the Chargers.

With Darnell Mooney (Achilles) and Drake London (hip) also avoiding injury designations, Hodge figures to have his usual role as the No. 4 wide receiver in an offense that rarely takes any of its top three guys off the field.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Expected to play

Koo (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers but is expected to play, Will McFadden of atlantafalcons.com reports.

The Falcons signed Riley Patterson to their practice squad this week, but it now appears he won't be needed after Koo managed full practice participation Friday. Falcons coach Raheem Morris suggested Friday that Koo is likely to play.

  • Falcons' Drake London: Playing against Chargers

Head coach Raheem Morris said Friday that London (hip) will be good to go for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

London was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited practice participant due to a hip injury, but he'll be available coming out of Atlanta's Week 12 bye. Atlanta has yet to release its Friday injury report, but it wouldn't be surprising if London returned to full participation and avoided an injury designation. Morris added that fellow wide receiver Darnell Mooney, who has been battling an Achilles injury, will also play against the Chargers.
