Knicks' Tyler Kolek: Out Wednesday
Kolek (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
Kolek has been downgraded from questionable to out. With Miles McBride and Cameron Payne healthy and available, Kolek's absence shouldn't impact New York's rotation.

Knicks' Tyler Kolek: Dealing with illness
Kolek is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks due to an illness.
With Miles McBride (knee/illness) back in the rotation after a five-game absence, Kolek played only two minutes during Monday's win over Denver, his fewest since Nov. 10. If he can't play Wednesday, McBride and Cameron Payne would be candidates for a couple of extra minutes against Dallas.

Knicks' Miles McBride: Brings strong stat line in return
McBride (knee) tallied 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 28 minutes Monday in the Knicks' 145-118 win over the Nuggets.
Head coach Tom Thibodeau didn't ease McBride back into the mix after the 24-year-old guard missed the previous five games with left knee patella femoral syndrome. The 28 minutes he received was just one off a season high, and McBride was efficient in his opportunities, knocking down half of his attempts from beyond the arc while not committing a turnover. Thibodeau ran a tight eight-man rotation while the game was still competitive, so a 25-to-30-minute-per-game role could become the norm for McBride now that he's healthy again.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: New career-high mark in assists
Brunson ended Monday's 145-118 win over the Nuggets with 23 points (8-14 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and 17 assists in 38 minutes.
Sure, OG Anunoby scored a career-high 40 points and Karl-Anthony Towns had a dominant effort while matching up with Nikola Jokic. However, Brunson's impressive performance in Monday's rout of the Nuggets can't be overlooked. The star floor general established a new career-high mark in assists, and the Knicks tied a franchise record with 45 dimes as a whole in Monday's win. This was Brunson's fourth game with double-digit assists across his last five appearances, and he's leaping forward as a playmaker of late. He's averaging 25.6 points and 8.6 assists per game since the beginning of November.

Knicks' OG Anunoby: Scores career-high 40 points
Anunoby notched 40 points (16-23 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block in 38 minutes during Monday's 145-118 win over the Nuggets.
Anunoby set a new career-high mark in points and was the team's go-to threat on offense, an impressive feat in its own right considering the Knicks also feature players such as Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. Anunoby was remarkably efficient as a scorer but also posted solid contributions in other categories in what turned out to be a career night for the veteran. Anunoby has been excellent for the Knicks of late. He's scored at least 24 points in four of his last six appearances while averaging 24.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.3 assists per game in that stretch.

Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Monster double-double in win
Towns had 30 points (12-15 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists and three steals over 34 minutes during Monday's 145-118 victory over Denver.
Towns had one of his most efficient performances of the season Monday, and this stat line carries an added value when considering he dealt with the threat of Nikola Jokic throughout the entire game. Towns extended his streak of double-doubles to seven consecutive appearances. His numbers have been absolutely elite in that stretch thanks to averages of 28.1 points, 13.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

Knicks' Miles McBride: Ready to go Monday
McBride (knee) is available for Monday's game against the Nuggets, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
McBride has missed the Knicks' last five outings due to an illness and left knee inflammation, though he appears to be ready to reprise his significant role off the bench. In his last five appearances before the absence streak, the 24-year-old guard averaged 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 26.8 minutes per game.

Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Set to play
Towns (calf) has been cleared to play Monday against the Nuggets, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Towns carried a questionable tag leading up to Monday's tipoff, but he's now been cleared by the team's training staff to run the floor. He's produced at a high level over his last five appearances, averaging 29.2 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 33.4 minutes.

Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Nursing left calf injury
Towns is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets due to a left calf contusion.
Towns was able to play through a left knee injury earlier in November, though he was forced to sit against the Nets on Nov. 15. He now appears to be working through a calf injury, and if he's unable to play Monday, Jericho Sims would likely be inserted into the Knicks' starting lineup. For the month of November, Towns has averaged 27.4 points on 52.1 percent shooting (including 41.7 percent from three on 6.5 3PA/G), 12.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 33.9 minutes per game.

Knicks' Josh Hart: Packs stat sheet yet again
Hart contributed 17 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists, three blocks and two steals across 41 minutes during Saturday's 121-106 loss to the Jazz.
Hart turned in an efficient shooting performance, drilling a pair of triples for a third straight appearance. He also showed why he's such a valuable all-around contributor with his effort on the boards and as a passer. Hart's heavy workload along with his ability to post diverse final lines should continue to be valuable for fantasy managers.

Knicks' Cameron Payne: Adds 11 points off bench
Payne logged 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt), six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal over 31 minutes during Saturday's 121-106 loss to the Jazz.
Payne led the New York bench in scoring with a strong showing from beyond the arc. He's enjoyed an expanded role for this Knicks team of late due to the absence of Miles McBride (knee), as Payne has averaged 26.7 minutes over his previous three appearances after averaging 15.4 minutes across his first nine games of the 2024-25 campaign.
