Tigers' Parker Meadows: Dealing with upper-arm inflammation
Meadows is dealing with right upper-arm inflammation and will be re-evaluated for baseball activities later this week, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
He underwent testing on his biceps Monday and inflammation is the official diagnosis on the injury report, so at least there isn't any structural damage. If cleared for baseball activities later this week, he would presumably start hitting and throwing before eventually getting into Grapefruit League games.

Tigers' Parker Meadows: Managing triceps issue
Meadows tweaked his triceps Saturday, though the issue isn't seen as a serious concern, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
Meadows started in center field Saturday and went 0-for-2 before being lifted. The triceps injury occurred while he was making a throw, and manager A.J. Hinch said Sunday that the issue doesn't appear to be significantly worrisome. Meadows isn't in the lineup for Sunday's spring contest, though that wouldn't be unusual this early in spring play regardless of an injury concern.

Tigers' Parker Meadows: Pops leadoff home run
Meadows went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Rays.
Meadows hit his ninth home run of the season to start things off in the bottom of the first inning, and he continued to pace Detroit's offense the rest of the game. The young outfielder has been a big reason why Detroit is unexpectedly closing in on a playoff spot. Since the beginning of August, Meadows is batting .291 with six home runs, 23 RBI and 26 runs scored in 43 games while typically batting leadoff against righties.
