J. Gary Pretlow (Democratic Party) is a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 89. He assumed office in 2013. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Pretlow (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 89. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Prelow earned his A.S. from Queensborough and his B.B.A. from Baruch College.[1] Pretlow is a financial planner with Moncur-Pretlow and Company. His professional experience includes being an assistant controller of The Limited, as a manager of accounting for Bloomingdale's, as an accountant, an insurance Salesman and as a stock broker.[2]
Pretlow is presently the district leader for Mount Vernon. His political experience also includes being a member of the Mount Vernon City Council and participating in the Democratic City Committee.
