WTF?

Okay, I decided to get the post done at an internet cafe in Osaka because it`s just too hard for me to do it when I get back to my room. Too tired and waiting too long to take a shower waiting for the AC to cool the room down again.

But first, WTF??? First Shin-Minato defeats Ryuukokudai Heian and now Kanzei (a team I irrationally root for) defeats Kyushu Kokusaidai Fuzoku?? The Kyukoku?

WTF man?

Just found your blog and have been pouring over it. Thanks for all your work and insight. I look forward to your thoughts on the Kanzei win. I always support the Northerners but I was blown away by Kosei Gakuin (watching live on ABC). Did you see the game? Is Kawakami the real deal?

I agree. The only game I got to watch yesterday was the second half of Kanzei-Kyukoku... and I was surprised how close the game was. Takajo's left hand was apparently hurt? He didn't look so great, though he did make at least one nice play at the plate. Poor Miyoshi. I just know that we'll see them play again sometime...

seiryoden - I'm attending all the games although I was late to today's games because I overslept.

But I don't know how much stock you can put into the win against Senshuudai Tamana. It was their first time and their only signature win in their run was the 1-0 win against Kumamoto Kougyou in the finals.

Deanna - The biggest thing I was surprised about was the fact that Kyukoku couldn't hit Kanzei ace Mizuhara. Seriously, 12 innings and just 5 hits? That's the biggest thing I was surprised about.

That and the fact that they took out Miyoshi. I know he might be getting tired, but you're in an all-or-nothing situation and while he's been getting hit a little more in the recent innings, he is still probably your best option.
