Ideas Databank
I remember, from at least 20 years ago, a website I stumbled onto that was a collection of ideas from people from all over the world. I think the ideas were grouped by category, like, social policy, technology, etc. Can't remember the name of the site. [more inside]
Original Research
I have created two pieces of new research in the form of (1) a survey and (2) a database. The survey was 30 questions on Google Survey which were answered by about 30 respondents in and around public radio. That was all that would respond. The database was created by coding terms, counting and categorizing their occurring instances and then running cross-tabulations to get simple percentages and ratios. In that case, the pledge drive language of 45 station was analyzed and yielded about 1980 datapoints. [more inside]
Help Me Resurrect a Dormant Website
I hired a developer to build a retail website for me in 2011. He did it, but I moved and the MyPhP account he established for me expired. At the time, knowing how life situations can change, I asked him for a copy of the code, which he gave me although he protested because he though I would allow him to host it on his site. We also had a falling out about quality which later, made me glad I had asked for a copy of the code. I know nothing about coding. [more inside]
