What's a good online database platform, ideally free? The goal is to document and cross-reference hundreds of items, specifically merit badges, as a follow-up to divabat's "Earn ALL the merit badges" question. The idea is to document individual badges, categorize them by type, organization, country, and other details that would be helpful for sorting and finding the badge(s) of interest. Given the sheer number of badges that could be documented, a blog platform doesn't seem robust enough, but I'm not sure if a wiki platform would be a good fit. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks! I'm trying to find an online database or wiki that is devoted solely to music in film. I'm looking for a site where I can either search for a piece of music and find out what films that piece of music appeared in, or search for a film and find out what music appeared in that film. Does this site exist?

I'd like to reconstitute a years-defunct wiki I used to collaborate on. I've contacted the principals, & our searches for the database backup have come up empty so far. Without having the original database, the simplest path appears to be taking the html & transforming it into, say, an sql dump. So - how do I do that? Are there any MediaWiki, database, or Perl trails to follow?
