Description
後述する実施例および比較例で用いた正極活物質の作製方法を説明する。実施例および比較例では、後で示す表1に記載したように、29種類の正極活物質を作製した。
実施例および比較例で用いた正極の作製方法を説明する。実施例および比較例では、上述のように作製した29種類の正極活物質をそれぞれ用いて、29種類の正極を作製した。
実施例および比較例では、上述のように作製した29種類の正極をそれぞれ用いて、29種類の試作電池を作製した。
試作電池に対し、0.1Cで、上限電圧を4.3V、下限電圧を2.7Vとした充放電を3回繰り返して初期化した。さらに、0.1Cで、上限電圧4.3V、下限電圧2.7Vの充放電を行い、放電容量を測定した。
試作電池を4.3Vまで定電流/定電圧で充電した後、取り出した正極をDMCで洗浄した。この後、正極を直径3.5mmの円盤状に打ち抜き、サンプルパンに入れ、電解液を1μl(リットル)加え、密封して試料とした。

- 組成式Li1.1+xNiaM1bM2cO2
(M1は、Coを表すか、またはCoとMnを表し、M2はWを表し、−0.07≦x≦0.1、0.6≦a≦0.9、0.05≦b≦0.38、0.02≦c≦0.06とする。)
で表されることを特徴とする正極活物質。 - 0.7≦a≦0.8である請求項1記載の正極活物質。
- −0.05≦x≦0.05である請求項1記載の正極活物質。
- 0.03≦c≦0.05である請求項1記載の正極活物質。
- 0≦x≦0.1である請求項1記載の正極活物質。
- 請求項1記載の正極活物質を用いることを特徴とする正極。
- リチウムを吸蔵放出可能な正極と、リチウムを吸蔵放出可能な負極と、セパレータとを備えるリチウムイオン二次電池において、
前記正極は、請求項6記載の正極であることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。
