Camille (Japanese: クルネ Kurune) is a recurring character in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. She is a programmer at Go-Go Systems and the mother of Goh.

History

Pre-series

In the past, Camille and her family used to travel during their free time to other places. Three years before the series, they visited Azalea Town, but couldn't do much because of a heavy rain. Because of a very hectic lifestyle, Camille and her husband were forced to leave Goh alone at home when he was younger and this ended up costing the relationship and time together between the family.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series

Camille first appeared in A Snow Day for Searching!. She was working alongside her husband when they received a phone call from Goh, who informed them that he was coming back home to visit them. After wondering why Goh was visiting them, Camille and Walker finished their work before going to meet Goh. Just then, they received a call for help, forcing them to inform Goh that they would be on late.

Once their work was done, Camille and Walker were heading home when they spotted Goh riding Dragonite. They approached Goh after Dewgong retrieved a Cubone's bone and were introduced to Ash. After meeting Goh's Pokémon and witnessing Goh catch Cubone, the group headed home to enjoy some stew, where they found that Halta had won her karaoke tournament.

Camille reappeared in Time After Time!, where she, Walker, and Goh took a family holiday to the cottage in Azalea Town that they had stayed at three years earlier. Although they planned to do several things during the trip, both Camille and Walker ended up falling asleep immediately after arriving.

Camille reappeared in This Could be the Start of Something Big!, when she joined a party taking place at Cerise Laboratory.

Character

Although very dedicated to work, Camille is very concerned with Goh and the lack of friends he had besides Chloe. This dedication to work ended up making her afraid that she did not do the best for Goh. Most of her worries towards Goh disappeared after she met Ash.
