Claims (2)
- 往復移動するピストンを収容するとともに燃焼室を形成する気筒と、前記気筒内へ導入される空気が通過する吸気通路と、前記吸気通路から前記気筒内への空気の流入を遮断する吸気弁とを有し、前記吸気弁の開弁時期および閉弁時期を変更可能な内燃機関の制御方法であって、
前記内燃機関の始動時において、当該内燃機関の温度が予め設定された所定温度よりも低い場合には、前記吸気弁を吸気上死点よりも遅角側でかつ吸気行程の前半時期に設定された第1開時期で開くとともに当該吸気弁を吸気下死点よりも遅角側に設定された第1閉時期で閉じる工程と、
前記内燃機関の始動時において、当該内燃機関の温度が前記所定温度よりも高い場合には、前記吸気弁を前記第1開時期よりも少なくとも進角側の予め設定された第2開時期で開くとともに前記吸気弁を前記第1閉時期および吸気下死点よりも遅角側の予め設定された第2閉時期で閉じ、かつ、前記吸気弁のリフト量を最大とする工程と、
前記内燃機関の温度が前記所定温度より高い場合に、キーシリンダにキーが挿入されてから、当該キーに対してエンジンを始動させるための操作が行われるまでの間に、吸気弁のリフト量を最大リフト量とする工程とを有し、
前記第1閉時期と第2閉時期の間隔が、前記第1開時期と第2開時期の間隔よりも大きく設定されていることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御方法。 - 前記内燃機関の温度が高いほど前記第2閉時期が遅角側に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。
