Claims (15)
- 規則的に配列された複数の発光ダイオードを含む第1基板、及び
前記発光ダイオードを駆動させる複数のTFTを含むTFTパネル部を含む第2基板を含み、
前記第1基板及び第2基板は互いに一面が対向するように結合され、前記各発光ダイオードと各TFTとが電気的に連結されたディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1基板は、
支持基板、
前記支持基板の上部に配列された複数の青色発光ダイオード、
前記支持基板の上部に配列され、前記複数の青色発光ダイオードと隣接するように配列された複数の緑色発光ダイオード、及び
前記支持基板の上部に配列され、前記複数の青色発光ダイオード及び複数の緑色発光ダイオードのうちいずれか一つと隣接するように配列された複数の赤色発光ダイオードを含む、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の青色発光ダイオード、複数の緑色発光ダイオード及び複数の赤色ダイオードのそれぞれは、
n型半導体層、
p型半導体層、
前記n型半導体層とp型半導体層との間に介在した活性層、
前記n型半導体層に結合されたn型電極、
前記p型半導体層に結合されたp型電極、及び
前記p型電極を取り囲むように形成された壁部を含む、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の青色発光ダイオードを前記支持基板に結合させる第1接着部、
前記複数の緑色発光ダイオードを前記支持基板に結合させる第2接着部、及び
前記複数の赤色発光ダイオードを前記支持基板に結合させる第3接着部をさらに含み、
前記第1接着部、前記第2接着部、及び前記第3接着部は互いに異なる温度の融点を有する、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1基板と前記第2基板とを電気的に結合する異方性導電フィルムをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記複数の発光ダイオードは、青色光を放出する青色発光ダイオードであって、
前記青色光を放出する青色光部、前記青色光を緑色光に波長変換して放出する緑色光部、及び前記青色光を赤色光に波長変換して放出する赤色光部のうちいずれか一つ以上を含む波長変換部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の発光ダイオードは、青色光を放出する青色発光ダイオード、及び赤色光を放出する赤色発光ダイオードを含み、
前記青色光を放出する青色光部、前記青色光を緑色光に波長変換して放出する緑色光部、及び前記赤色光を放出する赤色光部のうちいずれか一つ以上を含む波長変換部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記波長変換部は第3基板に形成され、
前記複数の発光ダイオードから放出された光の波長変換のために前記第1基板及び前記第3基板が結合された、請求項6に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記緑色光部及び前記赤色光部は蛍光体を含み、
前記緑色光部に含まれた蛍光体は窒化物系蛍光体であって、
前記赤色光部に含まれた蛍光体は窒化物系又はフッ化物蛍光体(KSF)である、請求項6に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1基板乃至第3基板のうちいずれか一つ以上は、透明基板又は不透明なフレキシブル基板である、請求項6に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記複数の発光ダイオードは青色発光ダイオードであって、
前記青色発光ダイオードから発光された青色光を白色光に波長変換する白色蛍光体部、及び
前記白色蛍光体部から放出された白色光から青色光を通過させる青色光部、緑色光を通過させる緑色光部、及び赤色光を通過させる赤色光部が含まれたカラーフィルターをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記発光ダイオードは、n型半導体層、p型半導体層、及び前記n型半導体層とp型半導体層との間に介在した活性層を含み、
前記p型半導体層上に壁部が形成された、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 複数の発光ダイオードが規則的に配列されるように発光ダイオード部を製造する段階、及び
前記製造された発光ダイオード部をTFTパネル部と結合する段階を含み、
前記発光ダイオード部を製造する段階は、
基板上に複数の発光ダイオードが規則的に配列されるように形成する段階、
前記複数の発光ダイオードを伸縮性のある伸縮基板に転写する段階、
前記複数の発光ダイオードの間の離隔距離が拡大されるように前記伸縮基板を平面的に拡大する段階、及び
前記伸縮基板によって離隔距離が拡大された複数の発光ダイオードのうち一つ以上を支持基板に結合する段階を含むディスプレイ装置の製造方法。 - 前記伸縮基板によって拡大される離隔距離は前記発光ダイオードの幅の2倍以上である、請求項13に記載のディスプレイ装置の製造方法。
- 前記発光ダイオード部をTFTパネル部と結合する段階は、異方性導電フィルムを用いて結合する、請求項13に記載のディスプレイ装置の製造方法。
