Ashley Bu | Revival Shop Seattle

I met Ashley Bu at her recently opened Capitol Hill store Revival. This whimsical little shop is located upstairs in a cozy space above Jai Thai on Broadway and Thomas. It really feels like hanging out in a fun new friend's apartment. You know, that friend has amazing style and you want to borrow everything in their closet... It is easy to see Ashley's style in the carefully curated racks of clothing, home goods, and art at Revival. It is such a perfect addition to the neighborhood. Ashley was nice enough to step outside the shop for a photo in this amazing high collar leopard print coat.

This is a great spot to stop by for Christmas shopping. Ashley has been stocking up on accessories and home goods in preparation for the holidays.

Mary Stewart | Baby and Co

I met Mary at the Suk Chai trunk show that happened at Baby and Co a few weeks back. She's been shopping at the store for years... she bought this puffer dress in two colors a long time ago and it's still one of her favorite pieces of clothing.

Nicole Elizabeth and Matt Noren | Tarboo, Inc. Handmade Clothing

I was so excited to run into these two downtown the other day. It had been a while! Matt is the founder and designer behind Tarboo, Inc. here in Seattle. Since 2010 he has been creating beautiful handmade clothing and accessories that work as a sort of uniform for us here in the Pacific Northwest. Timeless fuss-free clothing that is built to last and equally fitting for working downtown or a weekend of hiking on the Olympic Peninsula. Since the start of Tarboo, Matt has gone from making just shirts in a small space on Capitol Hill to crafting shirts, jackets, 5 panel hats and bags. Everything he is wearing here except his shoes is Tarboo (even Nicole's leather tote!).

In the last couple years Matt has been venturing into Denim. He has been making these jean jackets that are so beyond perfect. Every time he posts a photo of one on Instagram I swoon. Matt is currently on a mission to build a denim factory here in Seattle. He is raising money through Kickstarter and it's a major win-win. We donate to the Kickstarter and get first dibs on the jeans and jeans jackets that he is currently crafting and Matt gets to bring our city an incredible local denim factory where jeans will be made the old fashion way... by hand and built to last.

If you want to get your hands on some first run jeans made with Japanese denim or one of their classic jean jackets you have just a little while to make your pledge towards the goal. I really hope this denim factory happens. I think it would be so amazing to have something like this here in Seattle.

Leah Hair | Ballard Ave

Leah's leather bag is vintage L.L. Bean. I didn't know they used to make leather bags. It's my new mission now to find one for myself.

SCHAI by Suk Chai Trunk Show @ Baby and Co.

Last Thursday I stopped by Baby and Co to see the newest collection from local designer Suk Chai. There was a unanimous look of awe on the face of every person that perused the racks of her clothing. So beautiful... simple but completely unique. You can see the SCHAI fall/winter line here and images of the upcoming spring line here. I snapped a few photos people in attendance...

Clementine Shoes | Pioneer Square

One of my favorite shops has moved. Clementine Shoes is now in the Occidental Park area of Pioneer square next toThe London Plane and across from Bar Sajor. The new space is so perfect for them!  As always they have a beautiful selection of unique and comfortable shoes from quality companies. They also have a few racks of simple, minimalistic, well made clothing from some some great designers like Mia Fioravanti and 8telier as well as accessories (Carol Risley jewelry!!)
