この方法を用いれば、1点検出のタッチパネルでも操作者が連続して接触した2点の検出を行うことができ、入力方法の自由度が高くなる。
第一の位置情報と第三の位置情報とから第四の位置情報を算出する算出式が、上述の算出式とは異なる場合について、図4を用いて計算の異なる部分を説明する。

Claims (3)
- 特定の領域に自装置の機能を実行させるための画像を表示する画像表示装置であって、
画像を表示する画像表示部と、
前記画像表示部の前面に設けられ、接触された位置の位置情報を検出するための一点検出式のタッチパネルと、
前記位置情報に基づいて前記画像表示装置の制御処理を行う制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記タッチパネルに最初に接触した第一の接触点の位置情報である第一の位置情報が指置領域の内側であると判断すると前記第一の位置情報を記憶装置に格納して待機状態となり、前記第一の接触点に対する接触を検出した後に前記指置領域外の第三の位置が接触されたと前記タッチパネルが認識すると、前記第一の位置情報と前記第三の位置の位置情報である第三の位置情報とから第四の位置情報を算出し、前記第四の位置情報を算出した後に、前記待機状態を解除して、前記第四の位置情報が示す位置に割振られた機能を動作させることを特徴とする画像表示装置。 - 前記指置領域が設定される領域は、前記タッチパネル上に一体化されて設けられた領域であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像表示装置。
- 前記指置領域が前記タッチパネルの外周縁に設定されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像表示装置。
