A Smasher (Japanese: テニスプレイヤー Tennis Player) is a type of Trainer class introduced in Generation V. They are women who play tennis. In Black and White, they are only found in the Small Court in Nimbasa City. In Black 2 and White 2, they can also be found near the Village Bridge along with Hoopsters.

Smashers use a variety of Pokémon of different types.

Yuki, a student at the Aspertia City Trainers' School, was based on the Smasher Trainer class.

  • In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, Smashers Lizzy and Amy will alter their running speed depending on if the player is holding down the B-button.
