In Lost at the Stamp Rally!, Ash and Iris went to the Big Stadium to watch a football game between the teams "Gurdurr 11" and "Team Darmanitan". Although no Linebackers were seen live, two were shown on a poster telling about the big game.

According to Iris, she is a huge fan of "Gurdurr 11" because they have been training in the Village of Dragons for a long time.

Trivia

  • In a real game of American football, a Linebacker would never use a 3-point stance and no player would use a closed fist. Using a closed fist during a game could potentially disqualify them from participating.
