Definitions
- the present invention relates to a glass substrate container. More specifically, the present invention relates to a glass substrate container that accommodates one or a plurality of glass substrates horizontally.
- glass substrates used in flat-screen televisions such as liquid crystal televisions, plasma televisions, and organic EL televisions are becoming larger and larger.
- Such glass substrates are particularly susceptible to damage due to impact during transportation.
- a container that can accommodate a glass substrate horizontally instead of vertically is used to pack and transport the glass substrate.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a glass substrate transfer tray made of a polyolefin-based foamed resin molded product in which a housing portion for horizontally housing a glass substrate is formed, and the glass substrate houses the tray housing portion.
- a glass substrate transfer tray is described which includes a bottom portion and a side wall portion surrounding the bottom portion.
- the glass substrate container is a container main body 1 ′ in which an accommodating portion 2 ′ for accommodating the glass substrate X horizontally is formed, and includes a bottom portion 3 ′ and a side wall portion 4 ′ surrounding the bottom portion 3 ′.

- the glass substrate X is provided with a printed circuit board X1 for external connection in at least one piece.
- This printed circuit board X1 is weak in strength, and in a state where the glass substrate X is accommodated in the accommodating portion 2 ′, it is prevented from contacting the bottom 3 ′ and the side wall 4 ′ in the accommodating portion 2 ′. There is a need. Therefore, an escape recess 5 'that is stepped down from the bottom 3' is formed at a corresponding portion of the storage portion 2 'so that the printed board X1 is stored in a floating state (see FIG. 7).
- the accommodating portion 2 ′ has a shape that matches or substantially matches the outer shape of the glass substrate except for the escape recess 5 ′ so that the glass substrate X does not move inside. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 7, the accommodating portion 2 ′ includes a corner portion 2 a ′ corresponding to the corner portion of the glass substrate X so that the corner portion of the glass substrate X can be constrained. In the example shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, since the glass substrate X is a quadrangle (rectangular shape), the corners 2a ′ are provided at four locations of the accommodating portion 2 ′ and are 90 degrees to 90 degrees in plan view. It is formed with a crossing angle of about 90 degrees.
- the container main body 1 ′ is made of a foamed resin molded product, the container main body 1 ′ is easily subjected to a compression action accompanying a load from the glass substrate X that is a relatively heavy object.
- a glass substrate container containing a plurality of glass substrates X,... Is accidentally dropped the load from the corners of the glass substrates X,.
- the corner portion 2a ′ is deformed, and the glass substrate X released from the restraint by the corner portion 2a ′ is displaced in the housing portion 2, and in the worst case, the printed board of the glass substrate X.
- X1 comes into contact with the side wall portion 4 ′ in the housing portion 2 ′ and is damaged.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above problem, and even if it receives an impact from the outside, such as being accidentally dropped, it can suitably prevent the impact from being applied to the glass substrate, It is an object of the present invention to provide a glass substrate container in which a glass substrate can be securely fixed without causing a positional shift in a housing portion.
- a glass substrate container according to the present invention is configured to solve the above-described problem, and a container main body made of a foamed resin molded product is formed by a bottom portion and a side wall portion surrounding the bottom portion.
- a container main body made of a foamed resin molded product is formed by a bottom portion and a side wall portion surrounding the bottom portion.
- one direction of the glass substrate and a direction orthogonal to the one direction are provided at the corner portions of the housing portion corresponding to the corner portions of the glass substrate.
- a reinforcing member having a buffering action is disposed in at least one of the other directions.
- the reinforcing member has one portion having a buffering action with respect to one direction of the glass substrate, and is orthogonal or substantially orthogonal to the one portion, and the other direction of the glass substrate. It is possible to adopt a configuration including the other part having a buffering action.
- the reinforcing member since the reinforcing member has a buffering action in two orthogonal directions, the impact resistance is excellent regardless of the direction from which the shock is applied.
- one part and the other part of the reinforcing member are each formed in a plate shape.
- one portion of the reinforcing member is disposed along the other direction of the glass substrate, thereby having a buffering action with respect to one direction of the glass substrate, and the other portion of the reinforcing member being the glass substrate.
