Abstract

Dispositif pour bateaux, indépendant du système de propulsion principal, utilisable au choix comme gouvernail passif ou comme organe de manoeuvre actif, dans lequel une seule ou plusieurs pales longitudinales (3) sont montées excentriques sur un disque horizontal (2) pivotant autour de son centre, lesdites pales étant montées pivotantes autour de leurs axes verticaux. Les pales peuvent être commandées séparément au moyen d'un système de commande (1) indépendant de la commande principale du disque, de telle façon que lors d'une utilisation en gouvernail passif, le disque (2) est fixé en position et la ou les pales (3) sont orientées, via une ou plusieurs commandes séparées (1), dans le sens de l'axe longitudinal (A) du bateau, les déflexions requises du gouvernail étant transmises auxdites pales (3), cependant que lors d'une utilisation comme organe de manoeuvre actif, le disque (2) est entraîné en rotation et, suivant la direction de poussée désirée, laquelle peut varier de 360°, la ou les pales (3) effectuent, par mise en action des commandes séparées (1), un déplacement relatif par rapport à l'eau environnante, ledit déplacement engendrant une force de poussée orientée.
