Abstract

PURPOSE:To seal plural pieces of cells at one time, decrease the loss of sealing materials and improve the yield of cells by setting a mask material such as metal screen on liquid crystal display cells after injection of a liquid crystal, and supplying the sealing material in injection holes by a printing method. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display cell 1 is fixed by facing its liquid crystal injecting hole upward, and a squeezee 9 is rubbed in the direction of an arrow to supply a sealing material 2 through a hole 8 of a prescribed size provided to part of a metal screen 7 set opposite to the cell 1 into the injecting hole by a printing method. This results in that a constant amt. of the material 2 is supplied despite the change of its viscosity with time. The metal screen 7 provided with the multiple holes 8 is used and the plural cells are disposed opposite to these holes, whereby the sealing material is supplied uniformly to the injecting holes of all the cells. In this way, mass productivity is improved and the waste of the sealing material is prevented.
