Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain fine fluorescent pattern with good accuracy and ease by forming a color fluorescent screen through the so-called ink jet method in which a fluorescent ink in a granular state is adhered directly to the inner surface of a panel. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent ink from an ink tank 3 is injected from the tip of a nozzle 2 by means of the main pump 5. The fluorescent ink so injected, which is negatively charged, is then granulated and then attracted toward the panel 1 to which a high voltage is applied to cause the ink granules to adhere onto the inner surface of the panel 1, where the fluorescent ink granules are adhered to between carbon stripes previously formed at desired positions on the inner surface of the panel 1. Thus, a desired stripe pattern can be formed.
