Abstract
加締部と肩部との接触面圧を小さくし、スティックスリップ音の発生を防止すると共に、加締部のフレッティングを抑制した駆動車輪用軸受装置を提供する。
【解決手段】
内輪3がハブ輪2に揺動加締され、この加締部7が外側継手部材14の肩部19に当接した状態で、外側継手部材14がねじ手段を介してハブ輪2に軸方向に分離可能に結合された駆動車輪用軸受装置において、加締部7の内端面が平坦面に形成されると共に、肩部19の当接面19aが切削加工または研削加工によって形成され、ステム部20に対する直角度が所定の規格値内になるように規制されているので、肩部19が加締部7の内端面と全面当りとなり、加締部7に加えられる面圧を小さくすることができ、肩部19と加締部7との当接面で急激なスリップによるスティックスリップ音が発生するのを防止することができる。

Description
図1は、本発明に係る駆動車輪用軸受装置の一実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2は、図1の外側継手部材を示す説明図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウター側(図面左側)、中央寄り側をインナー側(図面右側)という。

Claims (5)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材と、
一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる円筒状の小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪からなり、前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、
等速自在継手を構成する外側継手部材とを備え、この外側継手部材が、カップ状のマウス部と、このマウス部の底部をなす肩部と、この肩部から軸方向に延びるステム部とを一体に有し、このステム部が前記ハブ輪にセレーションを介してトルク伝達可能に内嵌されると共に、前記小径段部の端部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成した加締部により前記内輪が軸方向に固定され、前記加締部が前記肩部と突き合わせ状態で、前記外側継手部材がねじ手段を介して前記ハブ輪に軸方向に分離可能に結合された駆動車輪用軸受装置において、
前記加締部の内端面が平坦面に形成されると共に、前記肩部の当接面が切削加工または研削加工によって形成され、この当接面の直角度が、前記ステム部に対して所定の規格値内になるように規制されていることを特徴とする駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記規格値が100μmに設定されている請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記当接面の平面度が所定の規格値内に規制されている請求項1または2に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記規格値が50μmに設定されている請求項3に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記複列の内側転走面のうち、アウター側の内側転走面が前記ハブ輪に直接形成されている請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
