Weam and her family used to reside in Northern Gaza, and before the current October 7th conflict, Weam Fan was in her final year of high-school getting ready to graduate and attend university. Then the conflict broke out and her plans for graduation and university, as well as the rest of her life, were torn apart.

Weam's father's store and her family home have both been destroyed, and the family has had to deal with frequent displacement while also losing their sole source of income.

Her mother and other family members are also dealing with medical issues that require treatment, her mother currently suffers from a slipped disc that has occurred while they've been living in a tent after being displaced. Her family members will need to be evacuated to receive the medical care they need, and Weam's mother specifically can only get treatment for her slipped disc outside of Gaza.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT

I was recently contacted by Weam (@weamfanona) to help spread her campaign. It is going extremely slowly and needs more attention.

Weam and her family originally belong to the northern part of the gaza strip. She was in her final year of highschool and was eager to attend university in order to fulfill her dreams, but unfortunately, that was when israel's genocide in palestine began. She and her family have suffered greatly with constant displacement in search of safer locations after their home was destroyed as well their family losing their only source of income when her father's shop fell victim to the destruction in their area.

Her mother, in particular, suffers from a slipped disc as a result of living in tents for many months; she is in need of urgent medical treatment, which she can only get outside of gaza, as the healthcare conditions in the strip are very poor.

Weam was in her senior year of highschool before the bombings began. She was excited to start university, but she was never able to even finish her highschool studies.

Weam and her family have been displaced multiple times. They are living in a tent in horrible conditions, and the physical stress has caused Weam's mother to develop a slipped disc. They are unable to treat it, and she lives in horrible pain as a result.

Weam's father originally supported the family through his shop, but it was destroyed. They now have no source of income, and thus have no way to evacuate or support themselves.

In order to safely evacuate into Egypt, this family needs £30,000. They've currently only raised £50.
