Arti time!! Scrawniest scug I've ever drawn (she does not take good care of herself)
Made a DMS skin based on this design since I'm starting Arti campaign soon š hopped into Expedition to test the skin out and engage in typical Arti behaviours (i.e. scavslaying)
I used Auro's Cutscene Slugcats skins as a base, with a combination of modified Saint and standard scug body sprites to draw on.

She's sad, tired, resigned and frustrated. She can see daylight through her cracked open chamber, but no matter how hard she tries can't get the right angle to see the sky. That frustrates her more than anything else does, most days. It seems almost cruel that she could fall so far as to literally have her innermost chamber laid bare to the open air and yet still not be free enough to look at the sky.
At a later point in her life, in memory of that helpless yearning and its eventual fulfillment, she takes the alt name 'Glimpse of Sky' when she needs an anonymous online identity. It seems a fitting choice to her.
#asks#looks to the moon#assembly#answering a few more of those in the tags: at time of assembly her memory is too poor to remember many details about what led to her fall#she knows pebbles was involved and is nebulously aware that the proximity between them was ultimately her downfall#but she can't activate most of her relevant memories unless someone is actively providing a pearl with relevant data to make the connections#she has a lot of general nebulous knowledge but few specifics#she knows she misses sig dearly#she knows thinking of pebbles makes her sad and worried#she only usually remembers why shes worried if something reminds her of him strongly enough to remember that he's got the rot#in general most introspection is fleeting for her and short lived. she forgets it#and then she thinks it again#she is. ironically. trapped in a loop#also while i wouldnt say i ship slivermoon as have no strong feelings about it. moon and sliver did have some gay feelings going on way back#but theres no fix it for sliver in assembly. shes fucking dead#no takebacksies for her#i do however ship moon with res' moon and sliver in a triad we call oxo after their forehead markings#that's post assembly tho. 3sig+ au stuff

#rain world#rw scavenger#sponty plays rain world#sponty plays survivor#loaded the game up the other day to continue my surv playthrough but i added slugpup safari#which has been very entertaining. had to turn off pups grabbing food from back tho#my hunterpup kept yoinking every food ever and stuffing it into his bottomless pit because non meat only gives quarter pip#found it nearly impossible to feed my own ass under those conditions lmao#this was the funniest moment in the session probably#but the part where a lizard lineaged into a red who got stuck in a small pool of water was pretty fun too#my first red encounter in game

Hi! I haven't engaged with tdp material since S4 on purpose, since I've learned I don't do well being a creator in fandoms whose canon is so actively updating. I'll binge all of tdp and catch up on everything eventually, but it might be a while, and I'd like to ask for strictly no spoilers for anything since S4 until then! I'm great at avoiding spoilers on my own but if people send them to me I can't really avoid that :P

#asks#I'm still in rain world fandom anyway tbh. could be a while before i want to move on. this fandom been great for my art#and i got a buddy here#but yeah i just. didnt cope well constantly having to figure out my take on new bits of canon info#i had to be like god so for my stories do i incorporate that do i adapt that or do i throw that out#and if i chuck it what's my justification for doing so#and tdp updating after s4 was CONSTANT.#there was always a new little short story or interview or whatever i had to catch up on to make sure i was Fully Informed#and it was super stressful tbh#for me it was like living with most of my brain in a fandom where i felt the rug was being pulled from under me nearly every day#pre s4 it was fine because there was that huge hiatus between 3 and 4 for me to settle in and get comfy eith established canon#but after that? no chance#rain world is much sleepier by comparison. theres a new campaign getting added next march#which is basically two years after the last major update#that's the kind of new content schedule i can cope with in fandoms im creatively active in#thank you for reading my overly long explanation for why i noped out of tdp after the hiatus ended#have a lovely christmas if you celebrate etc
