Claims (12)
- 배터리에 포함된 배터리 셀과 연결되어 상기 배터리 셀의 밸런싱을 수행하는 밸런싱부;상기 배터리 셀의 전압값에 대응하여 상기 밸런싱부의 작동을 제어하는 제어부; 및상기 밸런싱부의 미작동 시 상기 배터리 셀의 전압값이 기 설정된 제1 기준 전압값을 초과하는지 여부에 따라 상기 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 자가 방전부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 밸런싱부는,상기 배터리 셀의 전력을 소비하는 밸런싱 저항; 및상기 배터리 셀에서 상기 밸런싱 저항으로 흐르는 전류를 통전 또는 차단시키는 스위칭 소자;를 포함하는 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 배터리 셀의 전압값이 기 설정된 제2 기준 전압값 이상인 경우, 상기 스위칭 소자를 온(On)으로 변경함으로써, 상기 밸런싱 저항에 전류를 통전시켜 상기 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 자가 방전부는,상기 스위칭 소자와 병렬 연결되어 상기 배터리 셀의 전압이 역전압으로 인가되고, 상기 스위칭 소자가 미작동하여 상기 배터리 셀의 전압값이 상기 제1 기준 전압값을 초과하는 경우, 상기 배터리 셀에서 상기 밸런싱 저항으로 흐르는 전류를 통전시켜 상기 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 자가 방전부는,제너 다이오드 및 TVS(Transient Voltage Suppression) 다이오드 중 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 자가 방전부가 제너 다이오드인 경우, 상기 제1 기준 전압값은 상기 제너 다이오드의 항복 전압값인 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 장치.
- 배터리에 포함된 배터리 셀과 연결되어 상기 배터리 셀의 밸런싱을 수행하는 구비하는 단계;제어부가 상기 배터리 셀의 전압값에 대응하여 상기 밸런싱부의 작동을 제어하는 단계; 및자가 방전부가 상기 밸런싱부의 미작동 시 상기 배터리 셀의 전압값이 기 설정된 제1 기준 전압값을 초과하는지 여부에 따라 상기 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 구비하는 단계는,상기 배터리 셀의 전력을 소비하는 밸런싱 저항을 구비하는 단계; 및상기 배터리 셀에서 상기 밸런싱 저항으로 흐르는 전류를 통전 또는 차단시키는 스위칭 소자를 구비하는 단계;를 포함하는 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 제어하는 단계는,상기 제어부가 상기 배터리 셀의 전압값이 기 설정된 제2 기준 전압값 이상인 경우, 상기 스위칭 소자를 온으로 변경함으로써, 상기 밸런싱 저항에 전류를 통전시켜 상기 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 방전시키는 단계는,상기 스위칭 소자가 미작동하여 상기 배터리 셀의 전압값이 상기 제1 기준 전압값을 초과하는 경우, 상기 스위칭 소자와 병렬 연결되어 상기 배터리 셀의 전압이 역전압으로 인가되는 상기 자가 방전부가 상기 배터리 셀에서 상기 밸런싱 저항으로 흐르는 전류를 통전시켜 상기 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 자가 방전부는,제너 다이오드 및 TVS 다이오드 중 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 자가 방전부가 제너 다이오드인 경우, 상기 제1 기준 전압값은 상기 제너 다이오드의 항복 전압값인 것을 특징으로 하는,배터리 밸런싱 방법.
