Description
Claims (12)
- バッテリーバランシング装置であって、
バッテリーに含まれたバッテリーセルと連結されて前記バッテリーセルのバランシングを行うバランシング部、
前記バッテリーセルの電圧値に対応して前記バランシング部の作動を制御する制御部、及び
前記バランシング部の未作動時に前記バッテリーセルの電圧値が既に設定された第1基準電圧値を超過するか否かに応じて前記バッテリーセルを放電させる自己放電部、を備えてなり、
前記バランシング部は、
前記バッテリーセルの電力を消費するバランシング抵抗、及び
前記バッテリーセルから前記バランシング抵抗に流れる電流を通電又は遮断させるスイッチング素子を備えてなり、
前記バランシング部の未作動時は、前記制御部と前記スイッチング素子間の通信障害の発生時、スイッチング素子の劣化時、又は、前記制御部のエラー発生時であり、
前記バランシング部の未作動時に、前記自己放電部は、前記スイッチング素子に並列に連結されて前記バッテリーセルの電圧が逆電圧として印加され、前記バッテリーセルの電圧値が既に設定された第1基準電圧値を超過するか否かに応じて前記バッテリーセルを放電させるものであり、
前記自己放電部は、前記バッテリーセルから前記バランシング抵抗に流れる電流を通電させて前記バッテリーセルを放電させるものであることを特徴とする、バッテリーバランシング装置。 - 前記バランシング抵抗と前記スイッチング素子とが連結され、
前記スイッチング素子と前記自己放電部とが並列に連結され、
前記自己放電部と前記バランシング抵抗とが連結されてなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーバランシング装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記バッテリーセルの電圧値が既に設定された第2基準電圧値以上である場合、前記スイッチング素子をオン(On)に変更することにより、前記バランシング抵抗に電流を通電させて前記バッテリーセルを放電させることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のバッテリーバランシング装置。 - 前記自己放電部は、
前記スイッチング素子と並列連結されて前記バッテリーセルの電圧が逆電圧として印加され、前記スイッチング素子が未作動して前記バッテリーセルの電圧値が前記第1基準電圧値を超過する場合、前記バッテリーセルから前記バランシング抵抗に流れる電流を通電させて前記バッテリーセルを放電させることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のバッテリーバランシング装置。 - 前記自己放電部は、
ツェナーダイオード及びTVS(Transient Voltage Suppression)ダイオードのいずれか一つであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーバランシング装置。 - 前記自己放電部がツェナーダイオードである場合、前記第1基準電圧値は前記ツェナーダイオードの降伏電圧値であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のバッテリーバランシング装置。
- バッテリーバランシング方法であって、
バッテリーに含まれたバッテリーセルと連結されて前記バッテリーセルのバランシングを行うバランシング部を備えるステップ、
制御部が前記バッテリーセルの電圧値に対応して前記バランシング部の作動を制御するステップ、及び
自己放電部が前記バランシング部の未作動時に前記バッテリーセルの電圧値が既に設定された第1基準電圧値を超過するか否かに応じて前記バッテリーセルを放電させるステップ、を含んでなり、
前記バランシング部を備えるステップは、
前記バッテリーセルの電力を消費するバランシング抵抗を備えるステップ、及び
前記バッテリーセルから前記バランシング抵抗に流れる電流を通電又は遮断させるスイッチング素子を備えるステップ、を含んでなり、
前記バランシング部の未作動時は、前記制御部と前記スイッチング素子間の通信障害の発生時、スイッチング素子の劣化時、又は、前記制御部のエラー発生時であり、
前記バランシング部の未作動時に、前記自己放電部は、前記スイッチング素子に並列に連結されて前記バッテリーセルの電圧が逆電圧として印加され、前記バッテリーセルの電圧値が既に設定された第1基準電圧値を超過するか否かに応じて前記バッテリーセルを放電させるものであり、
前記放電させるステップは、前記バッテリーセルから前記バランシング抵抗に流れる電流を通電させて前記バッテリーセルを放電させるステップを含んでなることを特徴とする、バッテリーバランシング方法。 - 前記バランシング抵抗と前記スイッチング素子とが連結され、
前記スイッチング素子と前記自己放電部とが並列に連結され、
前記自己放電部と前記バランシング抵抗とが連結されてなることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のバッテリーバランシング方法。 - 前記制御するステップは、
前記制御部が、前記バッテリーセルの電圧値が既に設定された第2基準電圧値以上である場合、前記スイッチング素子をオンに変更することにより、前記バランシング抵抗に電流を通電させて前記バッテリーセルを放電させるステップを含んでなることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のバッテリーバランシング方法。 - 前記放電させるステップは、
前記スイッチング素子が未作動して前記バッテリーセルの電圧値が前記第1基準電圧値を超過する場合、前記スイッチング素子と並列連結されて前記バッテリーセルの電圧が逆電圧として印加される前記自己放電部が前記バッテリーセルから前記バランシング抵抗に流れる電流を通電させて前記バッテリーセルを放電させるステップを含んでなることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のバッテリーバランシング方法。 - 前記自己放電部は、
ツェナーダイオード及びTVSダイオードのいずれか一つであることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のバッテリーバランシング方法。 - 前記自己放電部がツェナーダイオードである場合、前記第1基準電圧値は前記ツェナーダイオードの降伏電圧値であることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載のバッテリーバランシング方法。
