도 3은 절삭날부를 형성하기 전의 블랭크를 나타내는 사시도이다.
도 4는 블랭크의 평면도이다.
도 5는 블랭크의 측면도이다.
도 6은 도 4에 있어서의 VI-VI선 단면도이다.
도 7은 회전 절삭 공구의 헤드에 고정된 인서트를 나타내고, 도 7(a)는 평면도, 도 7(b)는 측면도이다.
도 8은 제 2 실시형태의 인서트의 평면도이다.
도 9는 도 8에 있어서의 IX-IX선 단면도이다.
도 10은 제 2 실시형태의 인서트에 절삭날부를 새롭게 형성한 상태를 나타내는 평면도이다.

Claims (3)
- 다각 형상을 이루고 상기 다각형의 적어도 한 변에 절삭날부를 구비하고,
상기 절삭날부는 두께 방향의 일방측의 면에 형성된 볼록부를 갖는 경사면과, 상기 두께 방향의 일방측의 면에 대하여 교차하는 면에 형성된 오목부를 갖는 여유면으로 형성된 오목 형상의 절삭날을 구비하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 인서트. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 경사면은 각종 치수의 절삭날부를 등고선 형상으로 적층한 상태로 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 인서트. - 상기 여유면은 상기 절삭날부로부터 상기 두께 방향의 타방측의 면을 향해서 연장되는 오목형상 면이고, 상기 두께 방향에 수직한 상기 오목형상 면의 단면 형상이 상기 절삭날부로부터 상기 타방측의 면을 향하는 어느 위치에서도 동일하게 형성되거나, 또는 상기 두께 방향에 수직한 상기 오목형상 면의 단면 형상이 상기 절삭날부로부터 상기 타방측의 면에 근접할수록 오목 형상의 곡률이 작아지도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 인서트.
