Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a DC potential fluctuation of a signal transmission line by providing an impedance variable circuit changing the impedance by an AGC signal but not fluctuating the DC potential to the input side of the amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The signal to be sent is given from an input terminal 1 to the amplifier 5 and then amplified and sent to the post-stage from an output terminal 6. The output signal of the amplifier 5 is fed also to a detection circuit 22 and the AGC signal in response to the output level of the amplifier 5 is fed to bases of transistors 15, 16 of the impedance variable circuit 29. When the output level of the amplifier 5 is large and the AGC is in the operating state, the potential at a terminal 21 is equal to the reference voltage nearly from the reference voltage generating circuit 11. Thus, the DC potential at the terminal 21 is not fluctuated between the AGC operation and AGC nonoperation.
