Description
第一発明に係る回路基板用電気コネクタは、端子の長手方向での一端側に回路基板へ接続のための接続部そして他端側に相手接続体との接触のための接触部が形成された該端子と、該端子を複数配列保持するハウジングとを有し、該ハウジングが上記端子の接触部を配置している。
第二発明に係る回路基板用電気コネクタの製造方法は、端子の長手方向での一端側に回路基板へ接続のための接続部そして他端側に相手接続体との接触のための接触部が形成された該端子と、該端子を複数配列保持するハウジングとを有し、該ハウジングが上記端子の接触部を配置している回路基板用電気コネクタの製造方法である。
係りなく、細弾性部54の数を増加させたり、各細弾性部54の断面積を大きくしたりして、大電流を流すことができる。また、細弾性部54の数に係りなく、相手端子としての後述のレセプタクル電源端子130の数を選定することができ、さらには、レセプタクル電源端子130の数に係りなく、弾性を大きく確保できる。
0の底面よりも下方でプラグ端子40,50の接続部41,51と同じ高さに位置しており、回路基板の対応部に半田接続により固定されるようになっている。
クタ1の可動ハウジング30の嵌合部31の進入を許容する嵌合凹部105を形成している。図1および図2では、レセプタクルコネクタ2がプラグコネクタ1の上方位置に配されて該プラグコネクタ1への嵌合直前の状態で示されている関係上、底壁103は上部に位置し嵌合凹部105は下向きに開口している。
後の基板側ハウジング110の高さ寸法に応じた位置(細条片P5Aの長手方向位置)で屈曲して接続部124,134およびクランク部123A,123Bを形成することができる。したがって、本実施形態によれば、高さの異なる複数種のコネクタに設けられるレセプタクル端子120,130を一種の素材から作ることができるので、その分、製造コストの増大を抑制できる。
U字状部121,131の各接触部121B-1,121C-1,131B-1,131C-1によってコネクタ幅方向で挟圧される。このような挟圧状態のもとで、レセプタクル信号端子120がその信号用接触部121B-1,121C-1でプラグ信号端子40の信号用接触部42A,42Bと接圧をもって接触し、また、レセプタクル電源端子130がその電源用接触部131B-1,131C-1でプラグ電源端子50の電源用接触部52A,52Bと接圧をもって接触する(図5(B)参照)。この結果、レセプタクル端子120,130とプラグ端子40,50とが電気的に導通する。

Claims (4)
- 端子の長手方向での一端側に回路基板へ接続のための接続部そして他端側に相手接続体との接触のための接触部が形成された該端子と、該端子を複数配列保持するハウジングとを有し、該ハウジングが上記端子の接触部を配置している回路基板用電気コネクタの製造方法において、
相手接続体を受け入れる受入側ハウジングを成形した後、該受入側ハウジングに端子の接触部を収容した状態で、上記受入側ハウジングから延出している端子の延出部分を保持し回路基板に取り付けられる基板側ハウジングを、上記端子の延出部分における上記受入側ハウジングからの延出位置と上記端子の延出部分におけるその延出方向での任意の位置に形成される上記接続部の位置との間の長さに応じた高さ寸法で、上記端子の延出部分および上記受入側ハウジングとの一体成形により形成して、上記受入側ハウジングと上記基板側ハウジングとが一体化したハウジングを形成することを特徴とする回路基板用電気コネクタの製造方法。 - 上記接続部は、上記端子の延出部分を上記任意の位置で屈曲することにより形成されることとする請求項1に記載の回路基板用電気コネクタの製造方法。
- 上記受入側ハウジングを成形するとき、該受入側ハウジングと回路基板への固定のための固定金具とを一体成形し、その一体成形の後、上記受入側ハウジングから延出している固定金具の延出部分を保持し回路基板に取り付けられる上記基板側ハウジングを、上記固定金具の延出部分における上記受入側ハウジングからの延出位置と上記固定金具の延出部分におけるその延出方向での任意の位置に形成される固定部の位置との間の長さに応じた高さ寸法で、上記固定金具の延出部分および上記受入側ハウジングとの一体成形により形成することとする請求項1または請求項2に記載の回路基板用電気コネクタの製造方法。
- 上記固定部は、上記固定金具の延出部分を上記任意の位置で屈曲することにより形成されることとする請求項3に記載の回路基板用電気コネクタの製造方法。
