Claims (6)
- 像担持体に供給するための現像剤を収容する現像容器と、
前記現像容器の内部に回転可能に支持されて回転軸線方向に沿って現像剤を攪拌しながら搬送する攪拌部材と、
前記現像容器の内部に設けられて前記攪拌部材が配置される攪拌室と、
を備え、
前記攪拌室は、前記攪拌室の上面に設けられて外部から重力の作用により補給される現像剤を受け入れるための現像剤補給口を有し、
前記攪拌部材は、前記現像剤補給口に対して前記攪拌室の内部の現像剤の搬送方向下流側に配置されて現像剤の搬送能力を低減させた搬送能力低減部を有し、
前記攪拌室は、前記搬送能力低減部と対向する箇所に設けられた現像剤滞留部を有し、
前記攪拌室の前記現像剤滞留部以外の内面は、鏡面仕上げではなく、
前記現像剤滞留部の内面は、前記攪拌室の前記現像剤滞留部以外の内面よりも表面粗さが小さい鏡面仕上げであることを特徴とする現像装置。 - 前記現像剤滞留部の内面の表面粗さは、算術平均粗さRa0.1[μm]であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の現像装置。
- 前記現像容器は、前記現像容器の全体の内面に関して、前記現像剤滞留部の内面が前記現像剤滞留部以外の部分の内面よりも表面粗さが小さいことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の現像装置。
- 前記現像剤滞留部以外の部分の内面の表面粗さは、算術平均粗さRa1.04[μm]であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の現像装置。
- 前記攪拌部材は、回転軸と、前記回転軸の外周面に設けられた搬送羽根と、を有し、
前記搬送能力低減部は、前記攪拌部材の他の部分に比べて前記搬送羽根の外径が小さいことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれかに記載の現像装置。 - 請求項1〜請求項5のいずれかに記載の現像装置を備えることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
