Description
Claims (10)
- 加熱されると横方向に膨張しかつ長手方向に収縮するように構成された配向形状記憶ポリマーのストランドを分配するように構成されたストランド分配器であって、前記ストランドを分配するように協働する少なくとも2つのグリッパーを含む、ストランド分配器と、
前記ストランドの所定の長さを分配するために前記ストランド分配器と共に作動可能であるように構成されたストランド計量機構と、
前記所定の長さの締結具を形成するために前記ストランドを切断するように構成された切断機構と、を備え、
前記ストランド分配器が、互いに対して回転するように構成された第1の構造体と第2の構造体とを含み、前記第1の構造体に対する前記第2の構造体の第1の相対運動が、前記ストランド分配器に前記所定の長さを分配させ、前記第1の構造体に対する前記第2の構造体の第2の相対運動が、前記切断機構に前記所定の長さで前記ストランドを切断させ、
前記ストランド分配器が第1のグリッパーと第2のグリッパーとを含み、前記第2の運動中に、前記第2のグリッパーが前記ストランドを掴み、前記第1のグリッパーが前記第1のグリッパー内の前記ストランドの移動を可能にし、前記第1のグリッパーと前記第2のグリッパーとが互いに離れるように動く、装置。 - 前記ストランド計量機構が、前記第1の相対運動中に前記第1の構造体に対する前記第2の構造体の運動を、前記所定の長さに関連した相対運動の量に制限するように構成された止め部を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ストランド分配器が、前記第1の相対運動中に、
前記第1のグリッパーが前記ストランドを掴み、
前記第2のグリッパーが前記第2のグリッパー内の前記ストランドの移動を可能にし、
前記第1のグリッパーと前記第2のグリッパーとが互いに向かって動くように構成される、請求項2に記載の装置。 - 前記ストランド分配器が第1のグリッパーと第2のグリッパーとを含み、各グリッパーが前記ストランドを掴むように構成され、前記ストランド分配器が、前記ストランドの前記所定の長さを分配するために前記グリッパーを互いに対して動かすように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ストランド分配器が、アパーチャを有するプレートを含み、前記ストランド分配器が、前記ストランドを分配するように前記第1のグリッパーと前記第2のグリッパーとが協働した後、少なくとも前記ストランドの前記所定の長さが前記アパーチャを通って延在するように構成される、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記ストランド分配器が、
分配表面を有するプレートと、
前記プレート内のアパーチャと、を含み、
前記切断機構が、
前記プレートの前記分配表面に近接して配置された、鋭い縁部を含むナイフ刃と、
前記ナイフ刃を前記アパーチャを通って延在する前記ストランドの方へ動かすように構成されたカム従動子と、を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。 - 前記切断工具が、前記ストランドの断面形状の25%未満、10%未満、又は2%未満の歪みで前記ストランドを切断するように構成される、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記切断機構が前記所定の長さで前記ストランドを切断した後に前記ストランドを加熱するように構成された加熱器を更に備え、前記加熱は、前記締結具を前記ストランドの一端で横方向に膨張させかつ長手方向に収縮させるのに十分である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 作動可能に接続されたストランド分配器と計量機構と切断機構とを備えるストランド分配装置を作動させる工程であって、前記作動させる工程は、
前記ストランド分配器から、加熱されると横方向に膨張しかつ長手方向に収縮するように構成された配向形状記憶ポリマーを含むストランドを分配することと、
前記分配中に前記ストランドの所定の長さを計量することと、
前記所定の長さの締結具を形成するために前記ストランドを切断することと、を含み、
前記ストランド分配器が、互いに対して回転するように構成された第1の構造体と第2の構造体とを含み、
前記ストランドを分配することが、前記第1の構造体に対する前記第2の構造体の第1の相対運動によって実行され、
前記ストランドを切断することが、前記第1の構造体に対する前記第2の構造体の第2の相対運動によって実行される、方法。 - 前記締結具を分配することが、前記締結具の第1の端部を第1のワークピースの開口部に分配することと、
前記分配後、計量及び切断することと、
前記締結具の第2の端部を第2のワークピースの開口部に挿入することと、
前記第1のワークピースと前記第2のワークピースとを接合するために前記締結具を加熱することと、を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
