Claims (4)
- 弁座と接することによって燃料通路を閉じ、前記弁座から離れることによって燃料通路を開く弁体と、前記弁体と共動して開閉弁動作を行わせる可動子と、前記可動子の駆動手段として設けられたコイル及び磁気コアと前記磁気コアおよび前記可動子の外周側に設置された筒状のノズルホルダとで構成される電磁石と、前記弁体を前記駆動手段による駆動力の向きとは逆向きに付勢する付勢手段を備え、前記コイルに電流を供給することにより前記磁気コアと前記可動子との間に磁気吸引力を作用させて前記弁体を開弁させる機能を有する燃料噴射装置において、前記弁体が前記弁座と接触する閉弁位置と前記弁体の最大リフト量との間の中間位置で前記弁体に閉弁動作を開始させ、前記弁体と前記可動子に対して閉弁方向に作用する流体力が少なくとも前記閉弁動作を開始するリフト位置まで増加するようにしたことを特徴とする電磁式燃料噴射装置。
- 請求項1に記載の燃料噴射装置を駆動するための駆動回路において、前記コイルへの通電時に生じる逆起電圧の変化に起因するインダクタンスの変化を、前記コイルに流れる電流の時間微分値を検出することで、前記弁体が前記弁座から離脱するタイミングを検知し、駆動回路の演算装置ないしタイマにフィードバックすることによって前記磁気吸引力を制御することを特徴とする燃料噴射装置の駆動回路。
- 請求項1乃至2に記載の燃料噴射装置において、燃料噴射装置に電流を供給する駆動回路は、電源に接続され入力された電源電圧より高い電圧に昇圧する昇圧回路を有することで、高い電圧源と低い電圧源を有し、前記中間位置で前記弁体に前記閉弁動作を開始させる際には、前記低い電圧源から燃料噴射装置に電流を供給することを特徴する燃料噴射装置の駆動方法。
- 請求項3に記載の駆動方法で駆動される燃料噴射装置の駆動回路において、前記弁体が前記弁座と接触した状態から前記弁体が開弁する際に、前記駆動回路に設けた前記高い電圧源と低い電圧源を切替え可能なことを特徴する燃料噴射装置の駆動回路。
