Description
Claims (21)
- キャップ組立品であって、
ベースプレートとして電池缶の開口部に取り付けられた上キャップと、及び
前記上キャップに一体的に取り付けられた保護回路モジュールを含むキャップ小組立品とを備えてなり、
前記キャップ小組立品が、電池の過電流と、電池の過放電と、及び電池の過充電とを阻止するための保護回路モジュールと、及び前記保護回路モジュールを包囲するためのキャップハウジングとを備えてなり、並びに
前記キャップ小組立品が、選択的に、電気的な接続を得るための電極蓋と、短絡を阻止するための絶縁部材と、及び/又は安全エレメントとを更に備えてなるものである、キャップ組立品。 - 一体的な前記キャップ組立品が、
前記キャップ小組立品を挿入体として金型に挿入し、
前記保護回路モジュールが前記上キャップの二つの電極端子に電気的に接続されるように、前記二つの電極端子を含む前記上キャップの一方の側部に、前記キャップ小組立品を取り付けた後に、
溶融樹脂によりインサート射出成形し、前記上キャップの他方の側部が前記金型内で前記溶融樹脂の外側に露出されるようして製造される、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立品。 - 前記上キャップが、該上キャップに形成された少なくとも一つの固定溝を有してなり、 溶融樹脂が前記固定溝に侵入し、インサート射出成形中に前記固定溝内で凝固されてなる、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立品。
- 前記保護回路モジュール及び前記上キャップが金型に挿入される前に、
前記保護回路モジュールが、前記上キャップに連結されてなる、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立品。 - 前記保護回路モジュール及び/又は前記上キャップが、該保護回路モジュール及び/又は該上キャップに形成された少なくとも一つのガイド溝を有することにより、インサート射出成形中に前記保護回路モジュール及び前記上キャップが金型内で位置ずれが生じないようされてなり、及び
前記キャップ組立品が、前記保護回路モジュールを前記上キャップに連結するための、前記ガイド溝に連結された少なくとも一つの連結部材を更に備えてなる、請求項4に記載のキャップ組立品。 - 前記連結部材が、前記ガイド溝に連結されるようにするための、別体の部材又は前記上キャップ又は前記保護回路モジュールに形成された突出部である、請求項5に記載のキャップ組立品。
- 前記少なくとも一つの連結部材が、前記保護回路モジュールと前記上キャップとの間を電気的に接続する為に使用されるものである、請求項5に記載のキャップ組立品。
- 前記連結部材が、前記上キャップの導電性プレート上に一体的に形成された突出連結部材であり、及び
前記保護回路モジュールが、前記突出連結部材に連結される前記ガイド溝を有する基板を備えてなる、請求項5に記載のキャップ組立品。 - 前記ガイド溝が、二つであり、
一方のガイド溝は孔形状を有し、他方のガイド溝は窪み形状を有し、これによって、組み立て許容誤差による連結の困難性をなくした、請求項8に記載のキャップ組立品。 - 前記少なくとも一つの連結部材が、二つの互いに独立した導電性連結部材を備えてなり、
これらの連結部材の一方が、前記上キャップに取り付けられており、かつ、前記電極端子の一方に電気的に接続されてなるものであり、
他方の連結部材が、前記上キャップに取り付けられ、かつ、他方の電極端子に電気的に接続されてなるものである、請求項5に記載のキャップ組立品。 - 前記連結部材が、前記上キャップにリベットで取り付けられてなる、請求項10に記載のキャップ組立品。
- 前記連結部材及び前記保護回路モジュールが、該連結部材及び該保護回路モジュールの接触部分において溶接により連結されてなる、請求項5に記載のキャップ組立品。
- 前記上キャップの上端に設けられた、外周面に沿って凹形となっている溝を有する樹脂注入材料と、及び
電池の組み立て後に前記溝に連結されるリング部材を更に備えてなる、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立品。 - 前記樹脂注入材料が、前記キャップ組立品の側部で窪みが形成されており、
前記窪みに電解質注入ポートが位置決めされており、及び
前記リング部材が、前記窪みに連結される突出部が形成されてなる、請求項13に記載のキャップ組立品。 - 二次電池を製造する方法であって、
a)カソードと、セパレータと、及びアノードと備えた電極組立品を電池缶に挿入する工程と、
b)請求項1に記載のキャップ組立品を前記電池缶の開口部に取り付けた後、前記電池缶及び前記キャップ組立品を連結する工程と、
c)前記キャップ組立品を通るよう形成された電解質注入ポートを通して電解質を前記電池缶に注入した後、電解質注入ポートをシールする工程とを備えてなる、製造方法。 - 工程b)において、前記キャップ組立品が前記電池缶に、締結、付着、又は溶接で連結されてなる、請求項15に記載の製造方法。
- 前記溶接がレーザー溶接である、請求項16に記載の製造方法。
- 工程b)において、前記キャップ組立品を前記電池缶の開口部に取り付け、
前記保護回路モジュールが前記上キャップの上部分又は前記上キャップの下部分に配置されてなる、請求項15に記載の製造方法。 - 前記保護回路モジュールが、前記上キャップ及び前記保護回路モジュールが金型に挿入された状態で、端子用ウィンドウの方向で導入された第1ガイド部材と、及び樹脂注入ポートの方向で導入された第2ガイド部材によって固定されて、
インサート射出成形中に前記保護回路モジュールが動かないようしてなる、請求項15に記載の製造方法。 - 請求項15に記載の製造方法で製造された、二次電池。
- 前記二次電池が、該二次電池の下端に、下方突出部が形成されて、
前記二次電池が、装置へ容易に取り付けられ、又は装置から容易に取り外しできるようにされてなる、請求項20に記載の二次電池。
