Claims (9)
- 開口が形成された筐体と、前記筐体に形成された開口を塞ぐ封止キャップとを備えた電池であって、
前記封止キャップは前記筐体の開口を覆う薄板で形成されており、前記封止キャップの周縁部は筐体に接合されており、前記封止キャップの中央部は前記周縁部から屈曲して筐体の外側に向けて盛り上がっており、前記封止キャップの内側のうち前記周縁部から屈曲した角部に面取りが施されている、電池。 - 前記封止キャップはプレス成形品であって、前記角部の面取りがプレス成形によって施された、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記角部に施された面取りの面取り角θは、封止キャップの周縁部の底面を基準として、30°≦θ≦60°である、請求項1または2に記載の電池。
- 前記中央部は、前記周縁部から屈曲して立ち上がった側壁部と、前記筐体の開口の上部を覆う天板部とを備えている、請求項1から3の何れかに記載の電池。
- 前記天板部は平らに成形されている、請求項1から4の何れかに記載の電池。
- 前記天板部が前記側壁部よりも薄い請求項4または5に記載の電池。
- 前記側壁部の肉厚をt1とし、前記天板部の肉厚をt2とした場合に、0.9t1≧t2≧0.5t1である、請求項6に記載の電池。
- 前記筐体内に、正極及び負極を備えた電極体と電解質とが収容されて二次電池が構成された、請求項1から7の何れかに記載の電池。
- 請求項8に記載の二次電池を電源として備えた車両。
