Claims (3)
- 封口板と、前記封口板に溶接されている正極キャップと、を備えている封口体であって、電池の外装缶における上端の開口を封口する封口体において、
前記封口板は、
前記外装缶の内側に位置付けられる第1面と、前記第1面の裏側である前記外装缶の外側に位置付けられる第2面とを有しており、
前記正極キャップは、
円筒形状の胴体部と、前記胴体部の基端に位置付けられた開口の周縁に沿って設けられた円環状のフランジと、前記基端とは反対側の先端部を閉塞するように設けられた頂壁と、を含み、
前記フランジは、前記外装缶の側に位置付けられる底面、及び前記底面の裏側の面である前記外装缶と反対側に位置付けられる上面を有しており、
前記封口板と前記正極キャップとの溶接部は、前記封口板と前記フランジとが重なる領域であって、前記封口板の前記第2面と前記フランジの前記底面との間の領域にあり、前記フランジの中心から前記フランジの外周縁までの長さをRとし、前記溶接部における前記フランジの径方向外側の端縁から前記フランジの外周縁までの長さをXとした場合に、Rに対するXの割合の百分率が0%以上、2%以下となる位置に位置付けられている、封口体。 - 前記溶接部は、前記フランジの周方向に等間隔に複数形成されている、請求項1に記載の封口体。
- 上端に開口を有する外装缶と、前記外装缶の中に電解液とともに収容された電極群と、前記外装缶の開口を封口している封口体と、を備え、
前記封口体は、請求項1又は2に記載の封口体である、電池。
