Description
前記器具は、水蒸気の発生能を2時間以上有し、これを体表に当接させた状態下で、体表の温度が1時間以内に38℃以上42℃未満となる人体等の生理機能改善器具を提供することにより前記目的を達成したものである。
・湿熱 0.046W/(m・℃)
・乾熱 0.039W/(m・℃)
更に、適用2時間後の熱伝導率は以下の通りとなった。
・湿熱 0.048W/(m・℃)
・乾熱 0.032W/(m・℃)
これらの結果から、湿熱の熱伝導率が乾熱に比べて有意に高いことが確認された。このモデル系の測定結果から、本発明の生理機能改善器具1から人体への伝熱が水蒸気によって一層高まり、生理機能の改善が一層顕著なものとなると考察される。
(2)A+B=200〜700g/(m2・24hr)
(3)B=100〜450g/(m2・24hr)
図3及び図4に示す実施形態の生理機能改善器具(蒸気温熱シート)を、以下の手順で作製した。
鉄粉(同和鉄粉鉱業(株)製、商品名「RKH」)、活性炭(日本エンバイロケミカル(株)製、商品名「カルボラフィン」)及びパルプ繊維(NBKP、製造者:フレッチャー チャレンジ カナダ、商品名「Mackenzie」)を含む固形分濃度0.3重量%のスラリーを用い、傾斜型短網抄紙機によって、ライン速度15m/分にて抄紙して湿潤状態の成形シートを作製した。成形シートをフェルトで挟持して加圧脱水し、そのまま140℃の加熱ロール間に通し乾燥した。成形シートの組成を熱重量測定装置(セイコーインスツルメンツ社製、TG/DTA6200)を用いて測定した結果、鉄粉75%、活性炭10%、パルプ15%であった。シートの坪量は180g/m2であった。
炭酸カルシウムを含有するポリエチレン製の透湿性フィルム(透湿度800〜1200g/m2・24hr、通気度10000±2000s/100cm3、厚み0.05mm)、線状低密度ポリエチレン製の難透湿性フィルム及びエアスルー不織布(厚み0.13mm)を用いて図3及び図4に示す袋状の収容体を作製した。この中に、前記のシート状の発熱部を封入して、図3及び図4に示す蒸気温熱シートを得た。水蒸気放出面側のシートの厚みの合計は0.18mmであった。また水蒸気放出面積は0.016m2であった。
<発熱粉体による発熱部の調製>
原料組成物の配合は以下の通りである。
・被酸化性金属:鉄粉(同和鉄粉鉱業(株)製、商品名「RKH」) 29.5重量%
・反応促進剤:活性炭(日本エンバイロケミカル(株)製、商品名「カルボラフィン」)
10重量%
・保水剤1:アクリル酸系高吸収性ポリマー(三菱化学製、名:アクアパール) 7重量%
・保水剤2:バーミキュライト(NNケミカル社製) 7重量%
・電解質:精製塩(NaCl) 1.5重量%
・水:工業用水 45重量%
(2)蒸気温熱具の作製
前記の原料組成物を均一に混合してなる発熱粉体を、実施例1と同様の収容体に充填して図3及び図4に示す蒸気温熱シートを得た。発熱粉体の充填量は20gであった。

Claims (5)
- 化学エネルギーとして被酸化性金属の酸化反応により生じる酸化熱を利用した発熱部を有し、該発熱部と体表との間にシートを介在させて当接させた状態下に該発熱部から発生する水蒸気を供給するようになされている人体等の生理機能改善器具であって、
前記器具は、水蒸気の発生能を2時間以上有し、これを体表に当接させた状態下で、体表の温度が前記器具を適用してから1時間以内に38℃以上42℃未満となるものであり、
前記生理機能改善器具の発熱部と体表との間に介在させるシートは、生理機能改善器具の発熱部に空気の供給量を制御する機能と、生理機能改善器具の熱を体表に伝達する機能を有し、該シートの総厚みが0.05〜1.5mmであり、
前記発熱部は水分量30〜70重量%であり、かつ収容体に収容されてなり、前記生理機能改善器具の発熱部と体表との間に介在させる前記シートが該収容体の一部を構成しており、かつ通気性及び透湿性を有し、
前記収容体のうち、外方を向く面を構成するシートは、その透湿度の値が、生理機能改善器具の発熱部と体表との間に介在させる前記シートよりも小さいか、またその通気度の値が、生理機能改善器具の発熱部と体表との間に介在させる前記シートよりも大きいものであり、
前記生理機能改善器具の発熱部と体表との間に介在させる前記シートが、透湿性フィルムからなる単層構造のシート、又は、透湿性フィルム及び不織布からなる2層構造のシート、又は、透湿性フィルム及び同種又は異種の2枚以上の不織布からなる3層以上の構造のシートであり体表に直接接触するものであるか、或いは、該単層、2層又は3層構造のシート及び水蒸気の透過材料からなり該単層、2層又は3層構造のシートが該水蒸気の透過材料を介して体表へ接触するものであり、
前記生理機能改善器具は、その周縁部から中心部に向かって発熱が進行するようになされている人体等の生理機能改善器具。 - 前記収容体のうち、外方を向く面を構成する前記シートは難透湿性であり、生理機能改善器具の発熱部と体表との間に介在させる前記シートは透湿性であり、透湿性の該シートの透湿度が150〜2000g/(m 2 ・24hr)であり、通気度が8000〜15000s/100cm 3 である請求項1に記載の人体等の生理機能改善器具。
- 前記収容体のうち、生理機能改善器具の発熱部と体表との間に介在させる前記シートが、透湿性フィルムと、該透湿性フィルムの外面に配された不織布からなり、透湿性フィルムの厚みが0.01〜0.1mmであり、不織布の厚みが0.03〜0.5mmである請求項1又は2に記載の人体等の生理機能改善器具。
- 前記発熱部が被酸化性金属、反応促進剤、電解質及び水を含む請求項1ないし3の何れか1項に記載の人体等の生理機能改善器具。
- 更に粘着剤が発熱部と体表との間に介在させる前記シートにおける発熱部の収容部よりも外方である周縁部の位置に、又は前記外方を向く面を構成するシートの表面に塗布されている請求項1ないし4の何れか1項に記載の人体等の生理機能改善器具。
