Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention provides a partial wrinkle pattern that can be easily and intentionally controlled to form a partially glossy portion and a wrinkled pattern portion with excellent adhesion. The present invention relates to an application method and a partially textured material.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The pursuit of design and improved durability by surface processing of printed materials on paper and film are recognized as added value and are becoming increasingly diverse. In particular, the novel design of printed matter is an important factor that influences sales, and a visual new one is sought and various methods are applied to the processing method. Only a simple glossy or matte feeling in the surface processing is insufficient in design, and there has been a demand for a design that is partially sharpened as an eye-catching item for book covers and CD jackets.
In surface processing, it is typical to laminate a glossy vinyl-drawn or PP film, and it was used because it greatly improved glossiness and durability, but it has a uniform surface mainly. It was difficult to provide a design change partially, and a solution was desired.
[0003]
On the other hand, when a surface coating process of an ultraviolet curable resin is performed on a printed matter of a film or paper, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 64-10272 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 7-37172 disclose an undercoat ink containing a silicone compound or a fluorine compound. A method of forming a concavo-convex pattern by partially coating the film, coating an ink for overcoating from the top, and partially causing a repellency phenomenon is disclosed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional surface coating process, the reproducibility of the repellency phenomenon is low and cannot be intentionally controlled, so that the coating portion of the undercoat ink has an uneven pattern with a non-uniform pattern, and the design property is low. .
In addition, the adhesion between the undercoat ink and the topcoat ink at the repellency portion was extremely low, and the topcoat ink was easily peeled off, thereby impairing the durability.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to propose a method capable of partially applying a grain pattern on a glossy surface with an intentional pattern in surface coating with an ultraviolet curable resin.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In view of the above, the present invention has been found after intensive studies, and as a surface decoration of printed matter of paper or plastic sheet, it contains a silicone compound or a fluorine compound, and has an average particle size of 0.1 to 0.1. an inorganic or organic UV-curable undercoating liquid comprising a matting agent particles of a 10μm the diameter of one single dot and 100μm~2mm, 20~80% of the area density per unit area A partial wrinkle patterning method and a partial wrinkle patterning makeup characterized in that a glossy part and a wrinkle pattern part are partially formed by applying a UV curable top coat liquid on the entire surface. It relates to materials .
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The undercoat liquid used in the present invention is an ultraviolet curable resin composition that is cured by ultraviolet irradiation, and is blended with a material such as a silicone compound or a fluorine compound (water / oil repellent) and has an average particle size of 0.1. A matting agent which is inorganic or organic particles having a particle size of 10 μm to 10 μm is blended.
[0007]
As this matting agent, silica, alumina, titanium oxide, calcium carbonate, talc, silicone powder, bead-like resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, amino-alkyd resin, crosslinked styrene, phenol resin, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene powder, nylon powder, Urethane beads, balloon materials, rubber particles, etc. can be used, but especially silicone powder, bead-like resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, amino-alkyd resin, crosslinked styrene, phenol resin, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene powder, nylon It is desirable to use powder.
Such a matting agent is preferably contained in the undercoat liquid in an amount of 1.5 to 30% by weight. If the matting agent is less than 1.5% by weight, the fineness is insufficient, and if it is more than 30% by weight, coating is difficult.
The average particle size of the matting agent is 0.1 to 10 μm as described above, but if it is too fine or too large, it does not contribute to the improvement of adhesion.
[0008]
Further, as the water / oil repellent, the surface tension of the undercoat liquid is made smaller than the surface tension of the overcoat liquid, and a silicone compound or a fluorine compound is used, and the silicone compound is dimethyl, which is called silicone oil. A silane compound and a diphenylsilane compound are typical. Examples of fluorine compounds include HFC-134a and HCFC-141b. A wax-based material may be used in combination.
And it is desirable to contain 1.0-15 weight% of such a silicone compound or a fluorine compound in undercoat liquid.
When a wax-based material is used in combination, the silicone compound or the fluorine compound is 0.5 to 14.5% by weight, the wax-based material is 0.5 to 14.5% by weight, and 1.0 to 15% by weight. It is desirable to contain.
[0009]
Furthermore, such an undercoating liquid is applied partially and in a fine discontinuous pattern. Partially, if the coating part is appropriately selected according to the design of the printed matter of paper or plastic sheet, etc. The fine discontinuous pattern indicates that the pattern is not connected in a plane, and specifically, a halftone dot or the like in which an infinite number of fine dots are formed corresponds to this. It is desirable to make a printing plate for forming such a discontinuous pattern by photolithography or digital plate making.
This fine discontinuous pattern has a problem whether it is too coarse or too fine, and it is desirable that it can be controlled moderately depending on the requirements on the design side. More specifically, each halftone dot has a diameter of about 100 μm to 2 mm in a halftone dot, and is formed with an area density of about 20 to 80% per unit area. A more desirable area density is 30 to 70%. If the halftone dot diameter is smaller than 100 μm, a sufficient repelling effect does not appear, and if it is larger than 2 mm, visual interest is impaired. Further, if the area density is less than 20%, there are few cissing portions and a sufficient cissing effect does not appear, and if it is more than 80%, cissing occurs unevenly as in the case of smooth application.
[0010]
The application of the undercoat liquid is performed exclusively by offset printing, but is not particularly limited thereto, and may be applied by various coating machines or printing by various printing machines. The same applies to the application of the overcoating liquid that is applied to the entire surface thereafter, and any known technique may be used.
[0011]
In the present invention, after applying the above-described undercoat liquid partially and in a fine discontinuous pattern, the UV-curable topcoat liquid is applied to the entire surface, so the part where the undercoat liquid is not applied becomes a glossy part, A portion where the undercoat liquid is applied in a fine discontinuous pattern becomes a textured portion.
In other words, since the undercoat liquid contains a silicone compound or the like as described above, a repelling phenomenon occurs when the overcoat liquid is applied, but the undercoat liquid is formed in a fine discontinuous pattern, so reproducibility is improved. It becomes an excellent repellency phenomenon. For example, taking a halftone dot in which the application portion of the undercoat liquid is an infinite number of fine dots, the overcoat liquid is held between the dots by a repellency phenomenon. Moreover, since the matting agent is blended in the undercoat liquid, so-called affinity is exhibited, and the overcoat liquid is not completely repelled but a very thin coating film of the overcoat liquid is formed on the dots. In short, the repellency phenomenon is made excellent in reproducibility by the synergistic effect of the effect of forming the undercoat liquid in a fine discontinuous pattern and the affinity effect of the matting agent in the undercoat liquid. In this way, a wrinkle pattern having a novel design that is not found in the prior art is formed.
The overcoat liquid exhibits excellent adhesion due to the effect of improving the adhesion of the matting agent not only in the part where the undercoat liquid is not applied, but also in the applied part.
[0012]
The configuration other than the above in the present invention is not limited at all. For example, for a printed matter of paper or a plastic sheet, the printing ink may be an oily or soybean oil ink or an ultraviolet curable ink.
[0013]
【Example】
[Example 1]
A pattern was printed on the A2 coated paper using oil-based ink to prepare a printed material, and a plate making for applying the undercoat liquid was prepared in accordance with the pattern of the printed material to be a texture pattern.
The plate-making is a process in which a discontinuous pattern with uniform halftone dots is formed by photoengraving. Each halftone dot has a diameter of 300 μm and is formed with an area density of about 50% per unit area. .
By this plate making, using a mixture of FDO mat OP varnish AC-G (b) + top coat OP varnish = 5: 5 manufactured by Toyo Ink Co., Ltd., partially coated with 1 μm, an ultraviolet lamp at 80 W / cm, Curing was performed at a speed of 10 m / min. The topcoat liquid contains 15% by weight of an inorganic matting agent and 3.75% by weight of dimethylsilane (silicone oil) and wax.
Next, Arakawa Paint Co., Ltd. high-gloss UV-900-E was applied to the entire surface of 5 g / m 2 with a roll coater, and an ultraviolet lamp was cured at 120 W / cm at a speed of 10 m / min.
In the obtained material, only the portion where the undercoat liquid was applied in a fine discontinuous pattern became a textured pattern that was in the pattern of the plate making, the portion where the undercoat liquid was not applied became a glossy portion, and the glossiness was 87 In other words, it was possible to obtain a partially textured material having a novel design with good adhesion in both the textured area and the glossy area.
[0014]
[Example 2]
The same undercoat liquid as in Example 1 was applied to the printed material similar to that in Example 1. The plate making is a digital plate making a discontinuous pattern with uniform halftone dots. Each halftone dot has a diameter of 800 μm and is formed with an area density of about 70% per unit area. I made it. Then, coating was performed in the same manner as in Example 1 except that FDPCA80 varnish manufactured by Toyo Ink Co., Ltd. was applied to the entire surface of 6 g / m 2 with a roll coater.
In the obtained material, only the portion where the undercoat liquid was applied in a fine discontinuous pattern became a texture pattern that was in the pattern of the plate making, the portion where the undercoat liquid was not applied became a glossy part, and the glossiness was 88 In other words, it was possible to obtain a partially textured material having a novel design with good adhesion in both the textured area and the glossy area.
[0015]
[Comparative Example 1]
Coating was performed in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the undercoat liquid was applied only partially (partially solid).
In the obtained material, the part where the undercoat liquid was not applied became a glossy part, and the glossiness thereof was 83, but when the undercoat liquid was partially solid-coated, it became an uneven pattern with a large uneven pattern, The design property was low.
[0016]
[Comparative Example 2]
Coating was performed in the same manner as in Example 1 except that only the top coat OP varnish manufactured by Toyo Ink Co., Ltd., which did not contain any matting agent, was used as the undercoat liquid.
In the obtained material, the part where the undercoat liquid was not applied became a glossy part, and the glossiness thereof was 84, but the part where the undercoat liquid was applied in a fine discontinuous pattern had a grainy texture. It was large and had poor adhesion.
[0017]
The present invention has been described based on the embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be implemented in any way as long as the configuration described in the claims is not changed.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention applies the undercoating phenomenon that occurs when an undercoat liquid containing a silicone compound or a fluorine compound is partially applied (coated) and then an overcoat liquid is applied (coated) from above. By blending the matting agent in the liquid and applying the undercoat liquid in a fine discontinuous pattern, it can be controlled to have excellent reproducibility (repellency). The obtained material is formed with a new wrinkle pattern and has high adhesion and excellent durability.
Therefore, the present invention can provide a material having high design value and rich in design.
