Claims (2)
- 電池ユニットを電源として駆動し、かつ当該電池ユニットの残量を予測する手段を備えた装置に接続される電池ユニットであって、
複数の直列接続された電池セルと、
該電池セルの電圧のうち、最小電圧及び最大電圧を出力すると共に、当該電池ユニットの残量予測のために前記装置が備える電圧測定回路に対して該最小電圧を出力する回路と、
前記電池セルのうち、前記最大電圧が基準電圧以上となると当該電池ユニットを充電器から遮断する遮断回路を備えた、電池ユニット。 - 複数の直列接続された電池セルを有する電池ユニットを電源として駆動し、当該電池ユニットの残量を予測する装置であって、
前記電池ユニットは、各電池セルの電圧を検出し、検出された電圧を比較して求められた最小電圧及び最大電圧を出力すると共に、該最小電圧を当該装置に出力するものであり、該最小電圧に基づいて該電池ユニットの残量を予測する手段を備え、
前記予測する手段は、前記最小電圧に基づいて該電池ユニットの残量を予測し、予測した該電池ユニットの残量に基づいて該電池ユニットの充電の要否を判定する、装置。
