Abstract
Description
第1実施形態に係る接合構造体は、複数の金属を積層して接合した接合構造体であって、複数の金属は、積層方向に位置する面に、配列された複数の凸部と、複数の凸部の間に配される平坦部と、を有し、複数の凸部の先端は、曲面で構成される。当該接合構造体の一例を、図4に示すような、集電板3と電極箔4とを積層した接合構造体7とする。すなわち、複数の金属として、電極箔4と集電板3を例示する。電極箔4は、複数の金属箔の積層物である。金属箔は銅箔である。集電板3は銅板である。この場合、例えば、集電板3はリチウム二次電池における銅リードを構成し、電極箔4は負極を構成する。ただし、集電板3又は電極箔4に限られず、超音波接合が可能である金属であれば本開示を適用できる。集電板3と電極箔4とは同種の材質であることが望ましいが、異種材料を用いることも可能である。なお、図4は、集電板3と電極箔4との積層方向における断面図である。
図6は、第2実施形態における超音波接合の準備工程を示す模式断面図である。なお、説明しない事項は、第1実施形態と同様である。第1実施形態と異なる点は、ホーン5の主面と平行な断面(図6の奥行方向における断面)における突起底面10の断面積が均一でないことである。

Claims (13)
- 複数の金属を積層して接合した接合構造体であって、
前記複数の金属は、積層方向に位置する面に、配列された複数の凸部と、前記複数の凸部の間に配される平坦部と、を有し、
前記複数の凸部の先端は、曲面で構成されること、を特徴とする、接合構造体。 - 前記先端より前記平坦部側に位置する前記複数の凸部は、平面で構成される、請求項1に記載の接合構造体。
- 前記複数の凸部は、それぞれ複数の金属箔の積層物を含む、請求項1または2に記載の接合構造体。
- 前記複数の金属箔のうち、前記複数の凸部の先端に含まれる前記複数の金属箔は、互いに接合されていない、請求項3に記載の接合構造体。
- 前記平坦部に対する前記複数の凸部の高さの平均値を二分割した高さを通り、かつ前記平坦部に平行である面、を基準面とし、
前記基準面での断面において、前記複数の凸部のうち、中央に位置する凸部の断面積より、端に位置する凸部の断面積のほうが大きい、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の接合構造体。 - 前記基準面での断面において、前記複数の凸部のそれぞれの断面積が、中央から端にかけて徐々に大きくなる、請求項5に記載の接合構造体。
- アンビル上にワークを準備する工程Aと、
ホーンを前記ワークに押込みながら、前記ホーンより超音波振動を印加することで、前記ワークを超音波接合する工程Bと、を有し、
前記ホーンは、本体部と、前記本体部の前記ワークとの対向面に配列した複数の突起部と、を備え、
前記工程Bにおいて、前記ワークが、前記本体部と前記複数の突起部との接合部分と接触しないこと、を特徴とする、接合方法。 - 前記工程Bにおいて、前記ワークが、前記本体部と接触しないこと、を特徴とする、請求項7に記載の超音波接合方法。
- 前記工程Bにおいて、
前記ワークに対する前記ホーンの押込み量が、前記突起部の高さより小さい、請求項7又は8のいずれか1項に記載の接合方法。 - 前記工程Bにおいて、
前記ワークに対する前記ホーンの押込み量が、前記突起部の高さの30%〜90%である、請求項9に記載の接合方法。 - 前記本体部と前記複数の突起部との接合面での断面において、前記複数の突起部のうち、中央に位置する突起部の断面積より、端に位置する突起部の断面積のほうが小さい、請求項7〜10のいずれか1項に記載の接合方法。
- 前記本体部と前記複数の突起部との接合面での断面において、前記複数の突起部のそれぞれの断面積が、中央から端にかけて徐々に小さくなる、請求項11に記載の接合方法。
- 前記ワークは、複数の金属箔の積層物を、少なくとも前記ホーン側に積層する、請求項7〜12のいずれか1項に記載の接合方法。
