Claims (23)
- 第1領域及び該第1領域に隣接して位置する第2領域を有する表示パネルであって、
上基板と、
該表示パネルの前記第1領域で前記上基板の上面に配置されたパターン遮光層と、
該表示パネルの前記第2領域で前記上基板上に配置された光フィルタ層であり、該光フィルタ層は、約300nm〜約410nmの範囲の波長の透過率を少なくとも約20%〜約50%低下させ、約450nm〜約800nmの範囲の波長の光に関する該光フィルタ層の透過率が、少なくとも約80%〜95%である光フィルタ層と、
前記上基板に対向して配置された下基板と、
前記上基板と前記下基板との間に配置され、該表示パネルの前記第1領域内に位置するシール剤と、
前記上基板、前記下基板、及び前記シール剤に閉じ込められた表示媒体層と
を備えた表示パネル。 - 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記光フィルタ層は、該表示パネルの前記第1領域を露出させる表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、約500nm〜約800nmの範囲の波長の光に関する前記光フィルタ層の透過率は、少なくとも約85%〜95%である表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記光フィルタ層の材料が無機材料である表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記光フィルタ層の材料がZnO又はマグネシウムでのドープZnOである表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記光フィルタ層は、複数の薄膜により構成され、該複数の薄膜は薄膜毎に異なる材料を含む表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、上記上基板は、該表示パネルの前記第2領域に凹部を有し、前記光フィルタ層は、前記凹部内に配置される表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記上基板は、前記表示パネルの前記第1領域に凹部を有し、前記パターン遮光層は、前記凹部内に配置される表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記ディスプレイの前記第2領域で前記上基板の前記上面に配置された反射防止層をさらに備えた表示パネル。
- 請求項9に記載の表示パネルにおいて、該表示パネルの前記第1領域における前記パターン遮光層は、該表示パネルの前記第2領域における前記反射防止層の一部と面一である表示パネル。
- 請求項9に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記反射防止層は、該表示パネルの前記第1領域にさらに延びると共に前記パターン遮光層と接触する表示パネル。
- 請求項9に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記光フィルタ層は、前記反射防止層と接触する表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、該表示パネルの前記第2領域に延びる疎水層をさらに備えた表示パネル。
- 請求項1に記載の表示パネルにおいて、前記表示媒体層に接触した配向層をさらに備え、前記配向層は有機材料製である表示パネル。
- 表示パネルを製造する方法であって、
第2領域に隣接して該第2領域を囲む第1領域に位置するシール剤により、上基板を下基板と組み合わせるステップと、
前記第2領域で前記上基板と前記下基板との間に表示媒体層を形成するステップであり、前記表示媒体層を前記上基板、前記下基板、及び前記シール剤で閉じ込める、表示媒体層を形成するステップと、
前記第2領域で前記上基板の上面に光フィルタ層を形成するステップであり、前記光フィルタ層は、約300nm〜約410nmの範囲の波長の光の透過を少なくとも約20%〜約50%低下させ、約450nm〜約800nmの範囲の波長の光に関する光フィルタ層の透過率が少なくとも約80%〜95%である、光フィルタ層を形成するステップと、
前記第1領域で前記上基板の前記上面にパターン遮光層を形成するステップと
を含む方法。 - 請求項15に記載の方法において、前記シール剤はUV硬化型シール剤である方法。
- 請求項16に記載の方法において、前記光フィルタ層を前記シール剤の硬化前に形成し、前記光フィルタ層は前記第1領域を露出させる方法。
- 請求項16に記載の方法において、前記シール剤の硬化中にマスクを用いて前記第2領域を遮蔽し、前記シール剤の硬化後に前記マスクを除去する方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、前記光フィルタ層を約150℃〜約400℃の範囲の温度で約10分間〜約3時間の範囲の時間にわたって焼鈍するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、前記光フィルタ層の形成前に前記上基板の一部を除去して凹部を形成するステップであり、前記光フィルタ層及び前記パターン遮光層の少なくとも一方を前記凹部内に配置する、凹部を形成するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、前記上基板の前記上面に反射防止層を形成するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、前記パターン遮光層の形成前に疎水層を形成するステップであり、前記疎水層は前記第1領域で空白である、疎水層を形成するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項16に記載の方法において、前記第2領域で前記表示媒体層に接触した配向層をさらに形成し、前記配向層の材料は有機材料である方法。
