Claims (12)
- パン部材(pan member)、第1及び第2波形支持部材(corrugated support members)、カバープレート(cover plate)、及び熱伝導層(thermally conductive layer)を含んでいる冷却プレートアセンブリ(cooling plate assembly)と、
前記熱伝導層上に位置し且つ接触している電池モジュールと、
を含んでおり、
前記パン部材は、第1及び第2湾入プレート部(depressed plate portions)、中央リブ部(central rib portion)、及び外周リム部(peripheral rim portion)を含んでおり、前記中央リブ部は、第1及び第2湾入プレート部の少なくとも一部に結合され、それらの間に位置しており、前記外周リム部は、第1及び第2湾入プレート部の少なくとも一部まで延びており、前記中央リブ部と外周リム部は互いに実質的に同一平面上にあり、
前記第1及び第2波形支持部材は、パン部材の第1及び第2湾入プレート部上にそれぞれ位置し、
前記第1及び第2波形支持部材が、カバープレートとパン部材によってそれぞれ設定された第1及び第2内部領域(internal regions)でカバープレートとパン部材との間に固定されるように、パン部材上に位置し且つ結合されており、
前記熱伝導層は、カバープレート上に位置し且つ接触していることを特徴とする、電池パック。 - 前記第1及び第2波形支持部材のそれぞれは、少なくともパン部材の縦の長さの少なくとも90%の縦の長さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1及び第2波形支持部材は、それぞれ押出アルミニウムで構成されており、それぞれの第1及び第2波形支持部材を貫通する流動チャネル(flow channels)を設定していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記中央リブ部は、パン部材の縦の長さの少なくとも90%の縦の長さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記中央リブ部は第1及び第2端部(ends)を含んでおり、前記中央リブ部の第1端部は外周リム部の第1端部から延びており、前記第1内部領域が第2内部領域と流動的に連通するように、中央リブ部の第2端部は、外周リム部の第2端部から所定の距離に位置することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電池パック。
- 前記熱伝導層は熱可塑性発泡層(thermoplastic foam layer)であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、カバープレートを通って延びている第1及び第2開口(apertures)を有している第1及び第2管状ポート(tubular ports)をさらに含んでおり、前記第1及び第2管状ポートは、第1及び第2開口を通って少なくとも部分的にそれぞれ延びてカバープレートに結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1及び第2管状ポートは、第1及び第2内部領域とそれぞれ流動的に連通することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1管状ポートは、第1内部領域と第1波形支持部材の流動チャネルを通過して第2内部領域と第2波形支持部材の流動チャネルに流れた後、第2内部領域から第2管状ポートに流れた後、第2管状ポートを出る、冷媒を受け取るように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池モジュールは、ハウジング(housing)、第1及び第2電池セル、及び冷却フィン(cooling fin)を含んでおり、前記第1及び第2電池セルはハウジング内に位置し、前記冷却フィンは、ハウジング内の第1電池セルと第2電池セルとの間に位置し且つ接触しており、前記冷却フィンは、ハウジングを通ってさらに延びており、熱伝導層に接触することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記冷却フィンは第1及び第2シート部(sheet portions)を含んでおり、前記第2シート部は、第1シート部の端部に結合されており、第1シート部に対して実質的に垂直に延びていることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1シート部は、前記第1電池セルと第2電池セルとの間に対向して位置しており、ハウジングを通ってさらに延びており、前記第2シート部は、冷却プレートアセンブリの熱伝導層上に対向して位置することを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池パック。
