Abstract
【解決手段】パティキュレートフィルタ5と、酸素共存下でも選択的にNOxをアンモニアと反応させ得る選択還元型触媒6とを排気管4の途中に備え、夫々の間に還元剤として尿素水を添加し得るように構成した排気浄化装置に関し、車両のフレーム10に沿わせてパティキュレートフィルタ5を車両前後方向に配置すると共に、該パティキュレートフィルタ5の入側端部付近で車幅方向外側に向けて選択還元型触媒6を配置し、パティキュレートフィルタ5の出側端部から排出された排気ガス3を前方に折り返して選択還元型触媒6の入側端部に導入する連絡流路9を設け、該連絡流路9の途中に尿素水を添加するための尿素水添加用インジェクタ11(尿素水添加手段)を備える。

Claims (5)
- 排気管の途中に排気ガス中のパティキュレートを捕集するパティキュレートフィルタを備えると共に、該パティキュレートフィルタの下流側に酸素共存下でも選択的にNOxをアンモニアと反応させ得る選択還元型触媒を備え、該選択還元型触媒と前記パティキュレートフィルタとの間に還元剤として尿素水を添加し得るように構成した排気浄化装置であって、車両のフレームに沿わせてパティキュレートフィルタを車両前後方向に配置すると共に、該パティキュレートフィルタの入側端部付近で車幅方向外側に向けて選択還元型触媒を配置し、パティキュレートフィルタの出側端部から排出された排気ガスを前方に折り返して選択還元型触媒の入側端部に導入する連絡流路を設け、該連絡流路の途中に尿素水を添加するための尿素水添加手段を備えたことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
- パティキュレートフィルタの出側端部と選択還元型触媒の入側端部との間を連絡する連絡流路が、パティキュレートフィルタの出側端部から出た排気ガスを車幅方向外側へ方向転換させつつ集合せしめるガス集合室と、該ガス集合室で集められた排気ガスを前方に向けて抜き出し且つ終端部分を選択還元型触媒の入側端部に対峙するように屈曲させたミキシングパイプとにより構成し、ガス集合室の容積とミキシングパイプの流路断面積及び長さを共鳴減衰の原理により低周波域の排気騒音を低減し得るように設定したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
- パティキュレートフィルタの直前に排気ガス中の未燃燃料分を酸化処理する酸化触媒が装備され、該酸化触媒より上流側で排気ガス中に燃料を添加する燃料添加手段が備えられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気浄化装置。
- エンジンの各気筒に燃料を噴射する燃料噴射装置を燃料添加手段として採用し、気筒内への燃料噴射を制御して排気ガス中に未燃燃料分を多く残すことで燃料添加を実行するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 選択還元型触媒の直後に余剰のアンモニアを酸化処理するアンモニア低減触媒が装備されていることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の排気浄化装置。
