A gas burner comprises an annular trough 1, recessed 2 on its inner wall 3 to receive a downturned flange 5 of an annular cap 4 which is corrugated on both sides of its outer portion 6 and co-operates with an outer wall 7 of the trough 1 to form burner ports.
