Abstract

227,898. McCaughan, W. Oct. 19, 1923. Walls. - A wall for a building or other structure consists of standards 1, ribbed or corrugated metal sheets 2 or plain metal sheets with bent strips attached thereto, and wire netting or expanded metal 3 secured to the ribs on the outside to retain plaster or cement 4. The ribs may be horizontal and may have holes for bolting or tying the mesh 3. The covering may be applied to both sides of the standards and the interior may be filled with concrete or other material; or one side may be of plain bricks and the interior left hollow. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 6940/92.
