Abstract

1470823 Hose end fittings TAURUS GUMIIPARI VALLALAT 1 April 1974 [30 March 1973] 14433/74 Heading F2G An end fitting for a hose having a core 5, fabric inlays 6, reinforcing inlays 3 of round or interengaging S or Z profiled wires, with outer fabric inlays 7 and an outer cover 4, comprises an outer sleeve 1 and a stiffening component 2 disposed concentrically therewith the component 2 being inserted between the inlays 3 and 6, and the inlay 3 being disposed between the component 2 and the sleeve 1, the parts being secured together by adhesive. The core 5 extends through the sleeve 1, but in an alternative embodiment, the component 2 only partly underlies the core 5, the core 5 abutting a shoulder in the component 2, the shoulder and the bore in the component leading to the end of the fitting being of the same internal diameter as the core 5.
